Winter wandering, fall hiking, summer camping—the reversible Kids’ Capa Jacket is here for it all. Made with Primaloft® Black P.U.R.E. (Produced Using Reduced Emissions) 100% recycled synthetic insulation, this jacket will keep your little adventurers warm even when wet. To keep them really comfortable in weather, it also features a water-resistant recycled nylon shell. Packable, breathable, warm, the Capa is great for layering or as that jacket you bring on every adventure. This style is unisex. Also available in Men’s and Women’s.

  • To avoid clothes skewing the measurements, make sure they’re wearing something light and close-fitting, like leggings and a t-shirt (not jeans or a heavy jacket).
  • Ask them to stand up straight with their feet shoulder-width apart.
  • Height: Holding the tape measure vertically, measure their total height from the top of their head straight down to the floor.
  • Chest: With the tape measure parallel to the floor, measure the circumference around the fullest part of their chest.
  • Waist: With the tape measure parallel to the floor, measure the full circumference of their natural waist (at the crease when they bend to one side).
  • Hips: With the tape measure parallel to the ground, measure the circumference of the fullest part of their hips (usually around the top of their thighs, where they connect to their torso).
  • Sleeves: Starting at the base of their neck, measure along their shoulder, then down to the wrist. Their elbow should be slightly bent.
  • Inseam: Holding the tape measure vertically, measure straight down from their crotch to the floor. Take this measurement without shoes on.

Capa, love everything except pocket placement

The Capa, like all Cotopaxi jackets, us well made and comes in super fun colors. The issue I had was the side pocket placement, it was too far out on the sides. The pockets were a little harder to access and they sometimes stayed open or bunched up in an unflattering way

I'm a Tall but then woman so I thought I would try a kid size. This was too big. I liked it, though the colors were great and loved that it was reversible

Amazing Jacket

I love the color combination on this jacket! It's lightweight but insulated enough to keep you warm on a chilly and/or windy day. The quality is great and that's why I keep coming back to Cotopaxi! It's a little on the bigger size- not that I'm complaining. It'll fit perfect if you layer under for colder days.
