Gorgeous Mystic Violet Color
I bought three cashmere sweaters at prices so reasonable I was willing to risk getting skimpy clothing, but I'm happy with everything about the sweater I've worn so far, and the other two seem just as lovely. The crewneck (which came with a little extra yarn) is plush enough, and a joy to wear--warm and cozy and 100% comfortable. I usually wear an XL or a 1X for extra room, and in this sweater I got an XXL, and wouldn't have minded just a tad extra room in the bust and upper arms, but since I'll use the sweaters most frequently as color under coatigans or knitted blazers, they'll be fine. In general, I'd size up unless you want the body con look. The thing I love the most about the sweaters is the rich colors. I got one in Nutmeg, one in a deep purple (can't remember--was it called Blackberry?), and one in Mystic Violet, which is a beautiful shade. It just glowed against grey. I'm really glad I took a chance on these; they were my first Bloomingdale's purchase.

nice but ....
Why does Bloomingdales make their cashmere sweaters so long? What are we supposed to do with all the excess material? Does anyone want all that sweater hanging down? It's not as if it hides anything. If anything, it accentuates whatever we don't want to exaggerate. Please, Bloomingdales, cut these otherwise lovely sweaters more realistically short.
