I bought this so that my kids could use their paper rolls from Melissa and Doug for whatever size they need. My kids (5 and 8) were so frustrated in pulling the paper through - it keeps ripping or getting bunched up. It was difficult for me to thread as well. I'm not sure if we are missing something obvious (like a loosening option), or if it's defective, but we are pretty disappointed considering the high quality expectations from M&D!

The paper comes out of the feeder super easily and is so annoying to try and fit it back through. Definitely disappointing! I don’t recommend this.

This was a great addition to our playroom once we got rid of the easel and still wanted paper ready to go! It’s a little difficult at first to get the paper through the slot but the paper stays flat (not curled) when rolled out and the holder has rubber to keep it in place so I’m happy!

This has been a great thing to have and place on a coffee table for the little ones to draw on with crayons or pencils, or use the polka dot markers to make designs with. And when you can cover a large surface this way, more kids can get it on it! Love it!
