Not sure why, except for I assume profitability and being able to market quantity over quality, but they are much better caliber than the tissues you get in the larger boxes such as the Kleenex Ultra Soft, which feel like stiffer toilet paper in comparison. I carry them everywhere and keep a few packs in the car as well. Come on Kleenex, put these in boxes for the house as well
