The toy is well built and the colors vivid. You can pull the colored tabs and turn them. The bell isn't overly loud. You can spin the entire toy like a spinning top and the colored effect is a lot of fun.
I have a 4 month old who still has some trouble gripping this properly. I have a 5 year old who has fallen in love with the toy. If the baby doesn't end up liking this it's going to be a fight between my 5 year old and I to see who gets it.
