It is absolutely beautiful but unfortunately the lid is such an odd shape. The glass doesn't come straight down, it kind of domes in at the bottom so it doesn't sit at the edge. You can see the odd angle in my photo. It will be hard to fit cakes in it with this but thankfully we will use it more for pastries.

This is a beautiful cake stand large enough to hold a two layer cake or many pastries. The only downside, as others have said, is the glass cover can move around because it’s smaller than the wood stand. A groove to hold it in place would make it perfect. Still so attractive that it can stay on display always.

It’s just ok. There’s a bunch of room not being used because the lid doesn’t go the the edge. There’s a pretty big gap you can see in my picture.

I loved the look of it, it’s very elegant and the wood stain is very pretty. What I didn’t like is that it isn’t leveled. When you put the lid on you can see that there’s space from the tray to the lid and that means little bugs can get inside. Like ants or flies, and the purpose for buying it is it leave treats in there without worrying about bugs getting in. For reference I added a picture if what it looks like when it on the holder, and then the next pic is of a piece of papers easily sliding in underneath very easily. I recommend this product to anyone who isn’t worried about bugs getting in there lol.

Size, dimension, design style are great! The dome is very tall, which would accomodate a large layer cake, a stack of donuts, etc. The bad news is the there is a WARNING LABEL on the glass dome handle knob that says "Not To Be Used As Handle"...Like, what? I wouldn't have ordered it if I knew that. Who wants to get sticky fingerprints all over a glass dome? Also, the dome is also very heavy, you really don't want to use one hand to lift it. On mine, there is a circular etching cut that goes around the knob, which certainly doesn't inspire confidence. The wooden stand is not not one solid piece, but glued together, with a slight gap. Also, I use my 10" ceramic dinner plate to put a cake on...and while it fits on the stand, the dome will not cover it.
