Science & Key Ingredients.
Your skin’s moisture barrier (the stratum corneum, or outermost layer of the epidermis) has a bricks-and-mortar structure. The bricks are flat, dead skin cells called corneocytes, and the mortar is a fatty mixture made up of ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids. This mixture keeps your skin healthy, clear, and resilient. If it’s compromised, it can lead to skin that’s simultaneously dry and oily, extremely sensitive, or acne-prone.
Lipid Gold is formulated with ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids to mimic and strengthen your natural moisture barrier. By healing dehydration and replenishing that fatty mixture in your stratum corneum, you can address the above symptoms and discover healthy, bouncy, resilient skin.
The yellow color is completely natural, caused by the bright red color of sea buckthorn oil. It's non-staining and vanishes on application for most skin types. Those with extremely pale skin may experience a temporary orange tint, so may want to only use Lipid Gold before bed.
All Stratia products are free of common irritants like fragrance, alcohol, and essential oils.
HOW TO USE
Apply twice daily for a radiant glow
Lipid Gold is great for all skin types, but works especially well for dehydrated or over-exfoliated skin. Those with normal to oily skin may find Lipid Gold is moisturizing enough to be their only moisturizer, while drier skin types may want to follow it with a heavier cream.

What skin types can use Lipid Gold and is it non-comedogenic?
Lipid Gold is great for all skin types, especially those with sensitive or dehydrated skin. Those with very dry skin, may opt to layer a thicker moisturizer on top. All Stratia products are free of common irritants like fragrance, alcohol, and essential oils, but as everyone’s skin is unique, we can’t know how your skin may react. As with any product, we would suggest to patch test to see if any irritation
My bottle is a slightly different color that the previous one?
Lipid Gold is manufactured in small batches, so minor variations can occur. The color may appear lighter or darker due to the natural variations of Sea Buckthorn Oil, but the formula and effectiveness remain the same.
Is Lipid Gold vegan?
Lipid Gold contains additional cholesterol and we haven't been able to find a reliable source for pure vegan cholesterol, which is why it is not vegan. The cholesterol is derived from lanolin. Lanolin comes from the oil on sheep's wool and is obtained cruelty-free.
