My gymnast daughter loves this stick. She said it even worked on her elbow. She uses it at night and by the next day, the pain is gone. She routinely takes epsom salt baths and was surprised how well this product worked by comparison.

I got this at my local target on a whim, hoping it would help with pain and inflammation in my knee, hip, and lower back. Once you apply and let it sit on your skin during a steamy shower it does wonders- I'm really sad that it looks like it may have been discontinued because it was a fantastic product for folks like me who don't have a deep tub to soak in

No residue on skin or shower whatsoever. Don't expect this to work unless you actually leave it on for more than a few seconds, that's just not how epsom salt works. I use this daily for pain from chronic inflammation, I seem to feel better after the showers than before, even if only for a couple hours. I have my partner help me apply and massage it into my skin and leave it on for 2-5 minutes before rinsing it off, I do not use soap afterwards. I also find this to be an effective gentle mechanical exfoliant, my skin cell turnover rate is crazy fast and this has helped keep the build-up under control. I have also used this to help exfoliate freshly healed tattoos during the peeling/flaking stage and it hasn't caused me any irritation.

I bought this about 5 days after hip replacement surgery. I normal use epson salt in the bath and I can’t do that right now. I have used it everyday since purchased on my neck, shoulders, thigh muscle on the hip replacement side and it has helped so much. I worked for me. It may not work for everyone. I step away from the water and massage it in. I then wait a couple minutes and rinse. I feel like it has made a big difference for me. I don’t normally write reviews but I was not paid to do this and I purchased this from my local target.

I think these other reviews must be incentivized because I had a wildly different experience. While it is nice to control the stick and massage your shoulders etc it seems to quickly rinse off if you are in the shower, I’m not sure how long you are expected to stand there to feel a benefit. While it did feel massagey/ exfoliating the rubbing motion seems to use the product quickly and for $16 it’s not cheap. I did not notice any scent- good or otherwise. Also the upper cap under the lid always falls off and sticks to the product? And is a hassle to open. I will be trying to return this product as I found it a waste of money

This is the most effective thing I've tried minus crazy amounts of lidocaine! I suffer from joint pain, muscle pain and inflammation because of autoimmune disease + scoliosis/herniated disc. I've been in so much pain today and grabbed this on a whim to try and get some relief. I actually cried because after using this + having my partner massage it into my back - I was finally able to relax. I cannot recommend this product enough

This is amazing! I love the fact that I can now have the benefits of Epsom Salts and not have to soak! I use it after a tough workout or dance class - and I feel great. I also like the fact that you’re massaging it into your skin rather than just soaking.

I love this!! I take baths two maybe three times a week (and I'm going crazy for the new Will epsom salts!!), but I shower at least once a day! This is such a neat idea. I rub it on my lower back and my bad shoulder after tennis. Great option for when I don't have time to soak. Also easy for travel!

The packing on this is subpar. I was very excited to try this and I literally was unable to because the packing is horrendous. Using the pull tab cause the entire compartment containing the epsom stick to come out of the bottom container. I had to push it back down into that container and try to pull the tab up again but this did little to nothing other than continue to pull the entire thing out again and stretch the pull tab out. Not worth the hassle and will return it.

The loop on the product is made for hanging the product in the shower, it is not meant to be pulled. The product is a refillable cartridge so if you pull the tab hard, you will pull out the cartridge. Instead, twist the looped cap to remove. Inside you will see a protective cap that also twists off to reveal the product. Hopefully this helps and you have a better experience! - Will Perform Team

WOW! What a cool idea! This is great for sore muscles after a workout when you don't have time to do a full epsom salt soak. LOVE the scent too - so yummy!
