Used on my perimeter as my silk press aged. The product is thick like jam, caused my hair to have a white cast, does not play well with other products. Temporary hold, 3 hours or less. May be able to extend hold with pressure/scarf.

Use edge control often but I definitely like this formula. It’s more of like a beeswax formula that still provides the much needed hold. And I don’t just use this for edge control. I also use it for my flyaways when I’m doing a more sleek book. It definitely works great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a must have for my 4c hair, it keeps my edges laid and does not flake. I apply a little and tie down with a silk wrap to finish the sleek look. The sleek look last the whole day but does need to be re applied after a workout.

Why did I wait on purchasing this?? This is the best edge control I have ever used!!! For reference, I am 51 y/o. I have sprinkles of gray along my hairline. Type 4b/c hair. I smooth my hair with the Pattern double sided boar bristle bush. Amazing hold that lasts even until the next day!
