- Q
Can I use this in my arm pits to lighten them?
- Asked by Dani
- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageGlycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner has been tested for use on the face, neck, and scalp. It can also exfoliate areas of the body experiencing rough and bumpy skin. However, we do not recommend applying this product to covered areas of the body such as the inner thighs or underarms, as these areas may have more sensitive skin, and the natural occlusion of these regions may make them more prone to irritation. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Can i use the milky toner on top of the glycolic acid toner?
- Asked by Karina
- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageWe recommend alternating the use of Saccharomyces Ferment 30% Milky Toner and Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner since they both have exfoliating properties. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Can this be used on a twelve year old's skin if they have acne that is not inflamed? No blemishes
- Asked by Hi
- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageThe majority of our products are intended for adult skin. Though we have no reason to think that our products would be harmful for young people, less mature/younger skin is often more sensitive and frequently changing. For young people we recommend a simple routine of cleansing and hydrating as we do not want to interfere with skin development. For persistent skin issues or specific concerns, we suggest consulting with your doctor/dermatologist about safe and suitable treatments. Was this answer helpful to you

I have a few questions. I don't know anything about skin care or beauty products in general. Can this toner be used on its own? Do I really need other products like cleanser or moisturizer or a serum? Will I still see results if I only use this serum?
- Asked by Yosi
- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageGlycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner is an exfoliating toner for targeting dullness, texture and signs of aging. It can be used on it's own or alongside other products to best suit your specific skin concerns. Was this answer helpful to you

Chemical Scalp Exfoliant - Helps Manage Dandruff & Oils
I use this product for "other than the intended purpose". Skin care is important to me, but I struggle with psoriasis/dermatitis which sometimes results in dandruff and a rough patch behind one ear. In the past I have tried glycolic acid for my face and it was terrible. More than just a purging, it...

Not a bad product, my skin just didn't care for it
Product came with 2 options to apply them with: a squirtle or a regular top lid thingy. I chose the squirtle and I'd spritz it on a bottom pad and swept across my face. It would sting me. I thought my skin was just not used to it. This was one of the first products I purchased when I got into skinca...

Best Toner
Been using this product for over 5 years, is does not sting, removes any left on makeup, does not dry out my skin.
Clear skin
This helped get whatever residue was leftover after I washed my face and helped clear my pores.
I know you're not using this as only a toner
Do you use one of those whole-body deodorants? Well, you can put that overpriced crap in the trash. Attach a pump and spray everything after bathing with castile soap if you want to smell like water. The pH is perfect for killing bacteria.
Scalp Care
This product works wonders for dandruff or oily scalp. I would not use this on my face because I have sensitive skin, but glycolic acid has tons of other skin care uses just not on the face.
Wouldn't recommend
I used this for about 2 and a half almost 3 months and it literally made my skin look worse than what it started. Then when I applied it to my skin it would always burn so I wouldn't recommend.
