Bought because of L’Oreal name. It does stay on- I washed my hair twice and some was still in hair. It does do the job it says it does- cover the gray roots. The medium brown was darker than expected. Will be returning as darker than expected and my hair stylist said for me not to use.

I had used this spray occasionally for the last 2 years, but started using it more frequently during the holidays last year. I have always had very thick, full hair where you could barely even see my part. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I suddenly had several very thin areas and could see my scalp through my bangs, and my part was looking very thin as well. I chalked it up to stress and started using the spray even more to cover up the newly thin areas. My scalp itched intensely on a few occasions. Fast forward to February and my hair looks horrible. Brittle top layers, super obvious bald spots exactly where I used the spray the most, and my bangs are incredibly thin. I stopped using the root cover up a week ago. I’m hoping the hair loss is not permanent but I am taking pictures to document it all just in case. This product needs to be labeled with hair loss warnings! I also believe it should state that heat styling should not be used after application.

I didn’t like the texture this left in my hair. It felt sticky and rough. Even after washing my hair and scrubbing my scalp good, the stickiness didn’t wash away. Yuck. The light browns were too dark and the blonde looked greyish on me.

Wear a glove, it will stain whatever you put on your head. Comes off throughout the day until your next shampoo, becareful it will rain out black dye all over your shower. It was good at first coloring all the gray gone, but left my hair feeling like straw. I had my sunglasses on the top of my head, when I put them on my face the dye left residue on my face making me look like a racoon. Awful product. Stains everything.

It does, as others have noted, come off on ither things. I have a pair of off white Bose headphones that now are brown on the inside top that sits on the crown of my head. The color also blows off with the slightest bit of wind. The color is lighter than indicated on the front of the can.

Bought it for my aunt, she likes it. Gives good coverage for gray hair, no residues, no smudging. Need to make sure to hold the can about 6 inches or more otherwise the spray pressure might feel too sharp.

It’s wonderful! I don’t know what the other reviewers experienced but it works great and I had no issues with mess or getting on my clothes. Might be the user? I dunno. But for me it worked great and i used it along with the concealer because it sprays very fast and strong so I didn’t like putting it too close to my eyes or face so I sprayed the top with this and used the concealer to touch up the front.

Do NOT buy this literal mess. I usually by the Tresemme one, but I couldn’t find it at Target so I grabbed this one. It is so messy. I scratched my head after about 4.5 hours of it being on and it’s all over my fingers and my desk at work. The spray is odd too and even though I was 6-8 inches away from my hair, it still went on like spray paint. I actually had to wipe some of it because it just blasted my scalp with a paint splotch. Skip this one. It’s awful
