Ideal for beach days, sporting events, or everyday sun protection, the water-resistant formula will help keep your skin protected for up to 80 minutes. Developed specifically for sensitive skin, the hypoallergenic formula is infused with soothing Aloe Vera and free from parabens, phthalates and fragrances. How to Use: Shake well prior to use. Apply liberally to dry skin 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply: after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, or at least every 2 hours. For topical use only. There are not any sunscreens that provide 100% coverage from the sun, so there’s a chance that you will still see the effects of sun exposure on your skin after being outside. And given that any tan indicates the body's response to damaging UV light, this isn't necessarily a good thing. However, our SPF 50 mineral sunscreens provide broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection to help protect you from the sun’s harmful rays and are formulated to protect you from 98% of UVB rays. What the heck did they do to this sunscreen??? It was our favorite since my kiddo was a baby. I bought the "new formula" sensitive skin and my kiddo broke out in a HORRIBLE rash all over where the sunscreen was applied. Why do companies ruin something that works just fine? I'll never buy Blue Lizard again unless they go back to the original formula.

This is the best lotion sunscreen I have tried. I have not used the aresol one yet. A little goes a long way rub it in good bottle helps you know when to reapply. I stayed on the beach all day using blue lizard and the my tanning lotion and got a beautiful tan and never burned.

As someone with a darker skin tone it’s hard to find sunscreens that don’t leave a white cast and this one did not leave a cast for me which I appreciated a lot. I also feel like it lasts through the day (I have no tried it while being super active outside though), I’ve been using it as a daily sunscreen just in my skincare routine.

Even if it's a Cloudy day, the suns UV rays are still harmful to our skin. I love this product not only because I have sensitive skin but also because it is water resistant and I spend half my summer swimming. Also, if you have the bottle outside with you, it turns a darker blue depending on how bad the UV is that day super cool design!

The aresole sunscreens burn her skin, so we always keep a liquid and a can in our beach bag. This was a huge hit with my daughter. It didn't burn, it's non greasy and easy for her to rub in herself without leaving a cast. It's a thicker consistency, not runny. The protection from the sun worked well, I used it on my face with no irriation or burns. I've never tried mineral sunscreen but her Dr. recommended we try one. There's no scent, which is awesome for sensitive skin. I was worried it would be a blue tint because of the name, but it's not, and it dries clear. Packaging is a convenient,slim bottle with an easy to open pop up lid and didn't leak after being thrown in our beach bag.

I have pretty sensitive skin and most sunscreens either sting or cause breakouts, but Blue Lizard Sensitive Skin has been amazing. It’s gentle, fragrance-free, and just feels really safe to use. It does go on a little thick at first and there’s a slight white cast, but it blends in well after a minute and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. I also love that it’s water-resistant and actually stays put, even on hot days. The bottle changing color in the sun is such a cute and helpful touch—it’s like a built-in reminder to reapply. I’ve even recommended this to a bunch of friends! Definitely a favorite!
