I have been a die hard fan of all of Dove’s products for years! That being said, I am beyond disappointed with this product! To describe the scent of this “unscented” deodorant as utterly putrid is by far an understatement!!! I couldn’t imagine putting this product on any of my skin, let alone “whole” body, without expecting to experience some type of life threatening injury. Soured lead based paint, molded infection, toxic, or even possibly carcinogenic would be more accurate for the fragrance name of this product.

Out of the tube this product smells like something one would be trying to cover up. Phew! But I put some on the back of my hand and after rubbing it in, it is totally scent free. I'm not willing to put this on other places on my body. What if that smell doesn't go away? I'll stick with something with a good scent not an odor.

I decided to leave a review after seeing so many saying it smells bad. It does smell bad when it's wet and first applied. That weird odor goes away (at least for me) once the product dries, then it is truly unscented. It doesn't irritate. At first I thought it lasted all day but I am giving it 4 stars because I feel like it has stopped working for me. It's worth a try.

The product smells like a wet dog, so I don’t want to put it on my body. I experienced this with a famous brand of whole-body deodorants, so it’s probably a common ingredient. I can’t speak on the efficacy because I didn’t test it.

I will not continue to use this product. I just went into the bathroom at work trying to get it off. The smell is so bad it’s making me ill. I only use Dove products so I didn’t read the reviews about the smell. COMPLETELY SHOCKED that a Dove product could possibly smell this bad.

An excellent all over body deoderant. I use the unscented and it works beautifuly. I had tried a couple other brands and they were disappointing, I actually got a very bad rash from a more popular one on the market. A month into using the Dove and I am completely satisfied with this product. Thank you, Dove.
