Women's

Usually I wear New Balance, the higher end of the line due to my problem feet. I wear a women's size 12, or an 11.5, medium width. Often shoe manufacturers just use a last (the base of the shoe) designed for a man's foot for the larger women's shoe size. This shoe kinda feels that way except that the ball of the food is not quite wide enough. The real problem however is that the heel is too wide for my female foot. The shoe slips no matter how tightly I string the back end of the shoe. So, a bit narrow at the wide part of the toe box, and too wide in the heel. Not a good fit.

After 2 months of use (5 days/week of moderate walking no more than an hr at a time), the liner on the left shoe (inside just below the ankle) developed a hole. Nothing rubs or catches in that area, so no reason for a hole. The padding is now coming out. I probably have another month before they're unusable - that's a total of about 3 months of use - very disappointing! Not sure I'll purchase again - too bad as they were incredibly comfortable.

I have worn several models of this shoe for the past several years and I have liked them all. This one is great as well. I love the extra cushioning as I have had planter fasciitis in the past. These do feel a little bit stiffer than the Nimbus 25, but not much. These are still very cushioned and comfortable. I have only worn them for 30 minutes on a treadmill, but there is no breaking in period needed as with all of my previous pairs. To me that is the determining factor. I only walk, not run, but I do walk long distances often. Asics Gel-Nimbus have always lasted well and have not ever hurt my feet. I feel sure these will do the same. They look great and feel great. I would highly recommend these.
