Havaianas Slim Flip Flop Sandal

This is my favorite brand and style of flip-flop, but this year's crop (at least in white) has been smaller than years past. Sadly for me, my original white pair broke while I was on my honeymoon last summer. My pink pair followed five months later. I am headed on a cruise and intend to wear my slims most of the time. I normally wear a 37/38 in these shoes, which being that I am between 7½ and 8, worked well. Originally, I had gone down to a store that had them (wrong color) and tried on the 37/38 because I heard they re-did their sizing since I had bought my last pair. Boy did they. The 37/38 that I ordered elsewhere were too short. Just a smidge, but it bothered me. It does not look good when your sandals are too short, even when it is by a few centimeters. So this time around, I had to order a 39/40. As expected, they are a bit big, but not like the ones from last year. The resizing is ridiculous.
