I would give this 0 starts if I could. Don’t let the cute bottle and writing full you, this is the worst shampoo and conditioner I have ever used. I should have checked the reviews before I bought it. After only one use my hair feels disgusting. Dove shampoo and conditioner does a better job cleaning my hair and making my hair feel soft better than this. Do yourself and your hair a favor and do not waste your money on this!

This has caused me the worst dandruff ever. My hair has become very dry and flaky. It has no hydrating effect whatsoever and complete erases any moisture from your hair or scalp. Returning

Not hydrating at all. My hair still felt very dry and I will be returning it. I do love the scent of it

This shampoo smells amazing but it dried out my hair. The ends of my hair became frizzy, brittle, and straw like. It was awful.n

Gentle enough for my sensitive scalp, and makes my naturally wavy hair shiny and beautiful. It also smells amazing!

I'm sorry but for the price I don't feel like it does much I have cheaper products that I feel work better

Love this body wash, the scent is my absolute favorite. This is the 3rd time I've purchased and the bottle has shrunk 3oz and is now plastic instead of aluminum. Just lame...

First I love that this company is cruelty free and seems to be trying to be kind to the earth- I have not purchased the product in the new packaging- BUT I think it would be awesome to be able to purchase a refill option so we can refill/reuse our bottles-- This would be a great way to keep helping out mother earth.

I love this product but it did not help my frizz. so if you have frizz hair sorry not for you.

I rarely feel the need to write a review on something…with that said, Saltair hair products have given my hair LIFE. When I tell you my hair has never been this elastic and glossy with drugstore hair products…EVER…until Saltair. Scent is 10/10 also. I absolutely love this stuff. I highly recommend.

The scent of this shampoo is fantastic! I have straight, Asian hair, but unfortunately, it left my hair feeling heavy and waxy, particularly at the back of my head, even after thoroughly rinsing.

Just for context I have thin, fine, wavy hair that gets mildly greasy in the front, and has like the beachy wavy texture. My hair is also pretty damaged from heat treatment for work styling a few times a week. The goal I had in mind when buying this shampoo was rehydrating my damaged hair and adding shine to my dull hair. It did add a great deal of shine and made my waves really bounce back after being damaged. So I will give it that. However, it made my scalp break out and I leave the shower with my hair smelling like wet dog. I figured out it was the shampoo by process of elimination and switching back to a different shampoo briefly to see if the same smell lingered. I also had other people confirm it wasn't just me or covid messing with my sense of smell. It was pretty bad. And maybe it was just the ecosystem of oils and bacteria in combination with this shampoo that justs didn't mesh well...but unfortunately the breakouts and the smell made it almost impossible to keep using it. I will sadly have to throw it out. This shampoo may do well for a different scalp that is drier than mine, less blockage prone, and has a different balance of oils and bacteria to prevent the smell. So definitetely give it a try if it calls to you, but if you start breaking out and smelling like wet dog it may be this shampoo.

Bad packaging and formula declined in quality.

The package changed from aluminum to plastic, yet the price went up. Huge disappointment. I was willing to pay the premium for sustainable packaging, but now I've lost faith in the brand.

The product is amazing. I love the smell and the way it makes my hair feel. However I do not like that the packaging has changed from metal to plastic and because of this I will not be purchasing this again.

the first bottle was great but theres inconsistency in smell. i purchased a refill and the second bottle smelled so bad…. not at all like the first. im scared to use it on my hair because it just smells like glue. not santal 😭

OMG, the itching! Make it stop! Used ONE time. Wish I had read the reviews, first. Scalp, neck, behind the ears…anywhere this product touched now won’t stop itching! Gah! Do not buy.

Look forward to using this but use caution when ordering online. It was packaged inside a bag but the lid came loose during shipping and some of the products leaked out
