Details

Benefits

  • Helps accelerate skin cell turnover
  • Assists in plumping and firming the skin
  • Improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Helps to regulate sebum production
  • EWG VERIFIED

Key Ingredients

  • Bakuchiol: A natural alternative to retinol derived from the Psoralea Corylifolia (Babchi) plant. It has been shown to have similar effects as retinol, without irritation. Helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone.
  • Apple Fruit Stem Cell Extract (Malus Domestica Fruit Stem Cell Extract): Signals your own skin stem cells. It also combats the appearance of aging and deep wrinkles. Topical application has been shown to reduce the appearance of crow's feet wrinkles with daily use.

Formulated Without

  • Sulfates: DIME products never contain skin irritating ingredients such as sulfates. Sulfate-free products are gentle on the skin, and can help decrease the chances of an allergic reaction.
  • Parabens: Certain parabens have been linked to hormone disruption. DIME prohibits all parabens, including Ethylparaben, Butylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Isopropylparaben, Methylparaben, and Propylparaben.
  • Fragrance: DIME never uses any form of fragrance, natural or synthetic, in any facial skincare products.
  • Phthalates: Certain phthalates (like Dibutyl Phthalate, aka DBP, or DEHP, and DEP) appear on product labels, but most typically remain unlisted, hiding under the term “fragrance.” Since some phthalates have been linked to hormone disruption, DIME avoids them.

How To Use

Due to its exfoliation blend and high hydrational and repair properties, it is best to work through the night vs being disrupted by the day's free radicals. DIME recommends either applying after your night cream or alternating between DIME's TBT Cream and your night cream. Both layering and alternating products can be very beneficial for your skin.

As a Conscious Beauty brand, DIME features sustainable packaging. Once product is empty, rinse jar and toss into recycling bin.

Q
I have been told that with regular retinol they say to use SPF with it. I know this is a retinol alternative but is using SPF an absolute necessity to use this product? I just want to make sure I don't mess up my skin!
Asked by Christine
Official Answer By DIME Beauty - Brand Engage
Hello, that is a great question! Our TBT Cream is a clean retinol alternative as the super star ingredient bakuchiol has been shown to give all of the same benefits as a retinol cream minus the harshness, so this product should not make your skin more sensitive to the sun. However, we do recommend always applying SPF every single day and reapplying every 2 hours if possible. We hope this helps, let us know if you have any other questions! Was this answer helpful to you

Beware of ingredients

I recently purchased Dime DBT Cream, but I'm quite disappointed with the changes in its ingredients. After comparing the product's box and the website, it's clear that the ingredients listed are significantly different. One notable change is that Bakuchiol, which used to be a key ingredient, is now listed near the bottom of the ingredients list. Meanwhile, VP Copolymer, which was previously much lower, is now near the top. This shift raises concerns about the formulation and effectiveness of the product. I'm a little frustrated that the ingredients have changed without clear communication or transparency. If you're someone who trusted the original formulation, be cautious and do your research before purch

My go to!

Submitted 7 days ago

By Pam

From Pennsylvania

Was looking for an alternative to retinol during my pregnancy, and found this. I use this with the TBT oil and my skin has been doing so well. My breakouts have cleared, and my skin overall just feels great. Hoping that this will help with spot corrections due to pregnancy. I've tried so many products in the past, and I'm so glad I found this.

New Skincare Staple

From Pittsburgh, PA

I randomly bought this because I was out of moisturizer and the reviews were so high. This is the best moisturizer I have ever tried. I normally get an eczema breakout from the cold/dry weather but have not since using this. I just bought another but it lasted me a good 4.5 ish months. It's a bit thick but absorbs into the skin very fast and reduces fine lines and helps my makeup look better.
