Time is currency and we all want to use it wisely. The Mint Roller saves time in your day by being compact, effective, easy to use and it helps you get on with your day without sacrificing your leisurely morning routine. Plus, the Mint Roller is smaller and has more precise aluminum rollers. The V-shaped side is precisely made for your jawline and cheekbones while the flat side is meant for other parts of your face.

The coldness can vary depending on the environment. Everyone has a personal preference so here’s a quick breakdown:

FREEZING: put in the freezer if you want to experience a cold similar to the arctic- ICE, ICE BABY (LAURYN LIKES FUCKING FREEZING). Test on your wrist before you use.

CHILLED: put it in the fridge if you want a cooling experience or have sensitive skin, similar to cold cucumbers on your eyes during a facial. 

SLIGHTLY COLD: leave it on your vanity if you want to use your roller for facial massage and lymphatic drainage. The roller is naturally cold to the touch.

Place your clean ice roller in the freezer for at least 15 minutes in order to get it icy cold. Before each use, roll on your wrist about 8 times, to ensure it’s not too cold on your face.

Roll upward and outward on your face and down your neck to help drain the lymph.

Have muscle pain or tension? Use the Mint Roller to help alleviate minor discomforts. Can be used for rashes, razor burn and bug bites too. 

Feel free to store it in the fridge or your handbag. The aluminum will stay naturally cold to the touch and you’ll still get all the contouring benefits.

Clean the Mint Roller with a lukewarm, soapy washcloth every few weeks.

Most metals retain cold much better than other materials like plastic and polyurethane because they’re good thermal conductors. We chose aluminum as it’s a cleaner metal that does not rust while being lightweight compared to other metals like stainless steel. Also some of the other ice rollers on the market have a thin aluminum or stainless band around a hollow plastic roller, while the roller in the Hot Mess Ice Roller is solid aluminum - because of this denser use of aluminum, it helps hold the cold for much longer.

Solid aluminum is safe to use on your skin. As an extra safety precaution, we had our product independently tested for Skin Toxicity. Results confirmed that this is safe for use and highly unlikely to cause skin irritation.
