These are soft, fluffy, fuzzy socks. They haven't shed or lost their pile in 5 washings so far. The grips on the bottom are well-adhered to the fabric. The material from which the grips are made is anti-skid but not sticky and won't attract dirt. The overall aesthetic of these socks is soft and feminine. I wear a size 9 US shoe and these socks are just big enough for my foot. These socks are warm and ensure I won't fall on the hardwood stairs. I love them. They're just what I was looking for.
