I have never been able to wear Birkenstocks in the past despite their amazing reputation as they always flopped around and were either too wide or too short. I bought this style on a whim and didn’t realize they now have narrow width sandals. These are perfect for my flat and thin feet. I have the buckle at the tightest setting and have been wearing them a little at a time and boy, do they really mold to your feet. That waking on a hard surface feeling is gone and now blossomed into a walking massage. They no longer flip flop but actually stay on my feet. The metal buckle no longer bothers me (it’s a bit tight at first) and most impressive of all, my husband who hates Birkenstock shoes loves the style, as do I. So classy and so comfortable. An amazing find!

Not your mother or grandmother's Birkenstocks for sure in more ways than one. First of all they are just beautiful. Fashionable and exactly a look you would enjoy these days. The big buckle makes a fashion statement and the patent leather look is unexpected which also makes it look on trend. That is where the glowing reviews stops. For comfort these do not measure up to the Birkenstocks I have worn in the past. The leather is so hard it feels fake and I am not sure it will break in well. The bottom part of the shoe does not have the give that the cork beds of the past have either. I do love the look but I am not sure that I will keep these. For the price I would expect these to deliver on comfort. They just do not begin to do that. BTW I have multiple pairs of Birkenstock shoes but these do not feel the same.

I bought these in the Patent black leather. The leather is stiff at first, but softens after a few wears. They are so stylish! I wear them with everything- skirts, dresses, jeans, shorts... These shoes are so versatile and comfortable, and the patent leather with the big buckle elevates the style.
The hard footbed is actually more comfortable to me than the other style, and the "narrow" fit is a better fit for my feet than the classic fit. I ADORE these!!

I absolutely love these. I read a few reviews that talked about a foot bed being made of something other than cork and suede. Mine are just like every pair of birks I’ve ever owned. They are comfortable and so cute. They are a tiny bit more narrow than my other birks but I can only see this being an issue if you have a very wide foot.
