Classic and endlessly comfortable–our iconic penny style is known to be the most comfortable, exceptionally made and detailed loafer out there. Handcrafted in El Salvador.

Our shoes are made from the highest quality leather which will last season after season. Leather is a natural material and will give with wear.

  • 100% Italian leather in black spazzolato. This tannery is rated Leather Working Group Registered and leather contains no PFAs. Leather Working Group is a tool to evaluate the environmental performance of leather goods manufacturers.
  • 0.75" angled heel with leather sole
  • Leather and rubber split chip heel cap for enhanced durability
  • Fitting true to size

The ELBA is hand-sewn in our San Salvador, El Salvador, family factory. Our Co-Founder's grandfather started manufacturing shoes 67 years ago, and our hand-sewn Moccasins are produced in a factory that her father started in the 1980s. This factory is one of the last hand-sewn moccasin factories in the world—a true testament to artisanal craftsmanship and passing down this skill from generation to generation.

    Gorgeous Elba Penny Loafer

    I am in love with these loafers and have them in 2 colors now. The first pair were black and they have become a staple to wear almost everyday. The newest pair are brown croc and I am equally in love with these loafers. The fit is true to size and I bought my normal size 7. They fit perfectly. My feet are narrow so I was worried about too much gapping, but they fit nicely. I am so happy to have these loafers, so I can buy cute ankle socks to go with them. They are fun and comfortable. A little break in period but not bad at all.

    I've never had a show like this!

    I'm often 9.5 or 10. I went down to 9, after a return. I've been wearing without socks and they are so molded to my feet, quiet, and easy to land on hardwood flooring. I'm really happy that I splurged. The heel detail is so pretty too. Overall this shoe is gorgeous!
