Just want to thank you again for the outpouring of support I’ve received over the last few days. Like I said before, I usually use this space to share bits and pieces of happiness, pretty things (hello Nantucket,) my design work, my family, and my hobbies but I felt it was high time to use this platform to spread awareness of at least one of the current goings on. And I barely scratched the surface. We are living in a heavy time— worldwide— and it just didn’t feel authentic to not address at least one of the issues that’s been weighing heavy on my heart. So thank you, to those of you who responded in unity. After a long while of wondering what this community was really about, I was overjoyed to connect with so many other moms and people who share in my feelings. I will continue to post the bright and cheery things in my life, because I value this space as an escape, but thank you for sticking around for the heavier moments, too.
