These are the classic flip flops! I love them and am buying a second pair exactly like these because I wore my first pair down to nothing. Please note: As of June 2012, Zappos has the wrong sizes listed for these shoes. The Brazilian sizes 39/40 equals a US 7/8, for example, while sizes 41/42 equal US 9. I don't know why Zappos has them listed incorrectly, but be careful when you order. The shoes themselves are stamped with the correct sizes. Just be sure to order one size larger than what Zappos suggests for the US sizes they list.

My 8th pair of this style, have been buying this exact style since 2005 when I found them on a trip to Costa Rica...like walking on marshmallows. I love them! So durable and all sorts of fun colors and patterns. Only flop I wear (not kidding). On size, just a tip, I'm a 7. Possible 6.5 if it's a Converse or shoe that runs bigger but really a true 7 (platforms, wedges, flats, tennies ,etc). Get the 39/40, it is not a US size 9/10. If you like your flop to literally fit toe to heel then you'll do fine with the 37/38, if you like a touch of space so your shoe looks like it fits instead of being to small take my word for it and get the 39/40. Good purchase. I am a size 8-8.5 wide, and I bought the Havaianas in a size 39/40, and it fits perfectly.

The description is off on sizes. I ordered what Zappos said was a Women's 9 and when I got them they say size 7/8 and are obviously too small.
