If you've ever bought this brand, you know it runs small. My 7 year old wears a size 7 pant, small/size 8 shirt but we buy a size 10 in this brand. I also wash it in cold water and hang to dry. That being said, it's a great shirt. The color is rich and it's super soft. Dresses up or down, depending. The 7 year old loves it so it's worn without any issues!
