Q: Does this pump fit the skinny Dr. Brown’s bottles?

A: If anybody else sees this and is wondering the same thing- they don’t fit. They slightly do but if you twist the bottle on to tighten, it completely disconnects. I still pump with them if I pump standing and know that the bottle will not get bumped!

I loved the pump at first, but like other reviews stated, it stops working after a few uses. I'd take mine apart to wash it and one day there was just no suction anymore. I purchased the Frida Mom 2 in 1 manual pump and I'm never looking back at this pump again. Highly recommend Frida Mom 2 in 1!!

Great at emptying in a short amount of time. I bought this while I was on a trip. I forgot my pump cups and didn't want to buy $50 cups when I had 2 sets at home. This was great, and I wish this was the only thing I brought; no cords or extra packing/space to take up. No charging required! Also, the amount of milk I got from this versus a 15 min pump is crazy fast. And I can use this at work or anywhere without a complete setup. So far its been great. Will update if anything goes wrong. March2025

Bought this after not being able to get anything from the Haakaa. I'm getting a lot more from this, but I have to agree with the other reviews. I wish replacement parts were sold seperately. The yellow internal valve peice with the white flap has had issues after the second use. I do recommend this item if you're trying to manually express!

I have purchased two of these in the past 60 days and both pumps have broken. It looks like there’s a part on the hand pump that seals the pump and that has broken twice. Very disappointed.

Mine was missing 2 parts. I didn’t know until I opened it to wash and sterilize parts. It’s not returnable in store which is super inconvenient so now I have to reach out to the manufacturer. Smh

I love how easy and lightweight this is.. no cords or charging! But my milk gets stuck in the handle lid every single time and makes a sloshing sound... I have to then remove the handle clean the lid and start again. Would love to get that fixed.

I bought this pump when my baby was first born because I hadn't gotten my electric pump yet and needed something to empty my boobs. This thing works great for me. I did have a few times where the suction wasn't working and I just reassembled the pump and was able to make it work. This has really helped me when I get a clogged duct or mastitis because I can control the suction and how fast or slow i want it to go. The suction is really great for pulling out my clogs. I also like to use it as night before I go to bed for a quick pump to empty and use the milk for the next night before my little one goes to bed.

I bought 3 medala hand pumps cus they were really effective at first but for some reason the handle does not sit tight in the hole after using it for a week or so - the tightness of the handle essentially ensured that the suction is good. I tried everything Rearranged the parts, thorough sterilized them, used all 3 handles on all 3 funnels no luck!!! I was so frustrated that I went back to automatic pumps that i had. What am I doing wrong???

This is a great pump however I would not recommend this pump to anyone. Like all pump consumables, they need to be replaced after wear to keep suction. You can buy extra valve and membranes for this pump but you cannot buy o rings for the valve stem without buying a whole new pump. Customer service says they do not sell o rings separately and extra o rings come in the kit. I’ve purchased 3 since July this year and only one of these kits included an extra o ring. Pump consumables, while important, are wasteful as is. Having to buy a whole new pump when one of these pieces goes bad is extra waste and frankly corporate greed. Medela products used to be great, however they are no longer the products we know and love. The Harmony pump is their last best product and it seems they’re trying to hang on to sales from this pump to keep them afloat. I would not recommend this pump or any of the medela products to any of my breastfeeding friends.

I’m a breastfeeding mom and pump when needed. I was excited to try this pump out because I’ve heard really good stuff about it. However, this pump is a little painful because the suction is pretty strong. Even with the other suction setting it still hurts if there was a way to control it, it would be awesome! A cool feature is this pump collection the milk in the bottle so you just put the cap and store it. It’s good quality and it works but it was painful.
