4 masks, fragile material but sticks to face real well, gentle rejuvenation
Good mask, not my favorite, but I am liking it. I think this company makes some pretty special stuff. I like that it comes in a pack of 4. I found I had to be especially gentle with handling the mask as it is rather fragile. Comes in two pieces- top portion of face, and lower portion of face. If there mask material left over from punch out from the eyes, I totally recommend adding that to another spot on body (neck, back of hand). It isn't much, but why not use it? :) Once carefully maneuvered into place, the mask gloms onto the skin quite well. Unlike some sheet masks, this is an entirely different material. Looks like ham on my face, which gives me a chuckle. It is not all that wet, doesn't make my skin feel super dewy and hydrated, but it does look and feel better the next day (I use these in the evening post shower). The sizing is a little small. I already expect masks to be small since I have a large face, but this could have been a little bigger as it barely covered my chin. However, most of my face is covered. I leave it on for at least 20 minutes, then peel off. There has never been excess serum left behind on my face to pat in, nor any to scoop out from the packet. This is unusual to me. I kind of miss that, but my skin definitely is absorbing whatever is in the mask. So then I just follow up with some moisturizer to lock in any added hydration. There is a note on the packet that says that the mask could be melted down to create a serum. I tried to do this in a few different ways, and none of it worked. It doesn't change my opinion of the product as it isn't the selling point, but if you happen to take a closer look at the product pictures and notice that, that might make this extra appealing. I tried double boiling, microwaving, and using just a sauce pan. Nothing happened. Ah well, was hoping to share differently. Btw, the mask smells very nice. Soothing. Has a rose aroma. Decent price, worth the try!
