Only a small amount needed but if you use more it can lead to crunchiness so be warned. The only thing that would make this product better for me would be if it would add volume too! That said, at least it doesn’t take away volume and flatten hair like some other products. Its scent is light and unnoticeable.

I have just started my natural hair journey and I remembered that Tracee has her hair product line out and I took a chance on this gel to see if it would define my coils, and OMG, I am in love with this stuff! My hair is not considered "4C" type. It curs naturally and fairly healthy. I was lookung forward to more shine and the like. . instead it was very drying to hair. . it had no lustre. No curly affect

I have been using your curl gel for several months now. My hair use to go through periods of dryness, so my curls would be frizzy. Since I started using the Curl Gel by Patterns my hair is no longer dry. My curls are beautiful. I have finally found a product that helps with the moisture in my hair. Leaving my hair beautifully moist.

The curl gel works very well and stimulates curl pattern. There is no build up of product. The curls are well defined and the hold I can keep all weekend without having to re-twist my ringlets. Love it! Thank you Tracee Ellis Ross for designing a product for hair that is thick, curly, wavy, and coily and it works!
