A: I use makeup remover to remove makeup, especially eye makeup then wash with this. So no need for another wash.

Q: Does this work with pimples ? I have so many pimples everywhere and can I use my cetaphil with this product. If not , what are my risk meaning does my acne get worse ?

A: PanOxyl acne washes contain benzoyl peroxide, which works to kill acne causing bacteria and helps prevent future breakouts from forming. Our washes can be used to treat acne on the face, chest and back. We offer acne washes containing benzoyl peroxide in 4% and 10% concentration levels so you can customize your routine based on your skin’s needs. Avoid contact with the eyes, lips and mouth. Skin irritation and dryness is more likely to occur if you use another topical medication at the same time. If irritation occurs, only use one topical acne medication at a time. If you have any concerns about a potential reaction, we recommend you consult your healthcare provider.

A: We don’t recommend using our 10% wash on sensitive skin because of the Benzoyl peroxide that we use in our acne washes. Using a wash that has Benzoyl peroxide may cause skin irritation. We recommend you contact your healthcare provider or dermatologist for any questions regarding the appropriate treatment.

Q: If you use this in the shower and rinse well, does it still stain fabrics? I used to use a topical Benzoyl Peroxide as a teen, and ruined a lot of shirts. However, I wasn't rinsing after applying.

A: As long as you rinse off all the product, you should not see bleaching on your clothes.

I’ve tried so many products for my breakouts (cerave, neutrogena, hero, etc.) and this has been one of the only products to work. For reference I have combination / mostly dry skin, and I still have stubborn acne on my cheeks + acne scars that WONT go away from this product, but this product has been a lifesaver for removing those random breakouts you get.

It seems to be making a difference in our kids acne, it was recommended by her doc, she uses it consistently and finds it improves her breakouts, although it dries the skin and requires gentle non-greasy moisturizer. Def worth trying if you are dealing with fungal/hormonal/cystic acne, might take a week or two before seeing any change. Don't get it on your clothes or on the bath rugs as it will stain it.

This product is powerful! It did make my skin a bit dry, but I have combination skin that is both sensitive and acne-prone (oily and dry), and I feel like it helps reduce my breakouts. I only use a very small amount on my face, and only during bad flare-ups. As long as you use it sparingly, you should be fine!

It works the same as the others, but packaging fail. 1/2 of the spots stick to the wrapper when you open and 1/2 stick to the clear backing sheet. The ones that stick don’t to the sheet don’t peel easily. I’d just rather use another brand.
