Perfect sized soft fluffy brush! Good value.
Great for sweeping away powder after baking. Also great for applying powder or cream blush, I get a lot of uses from this brush. It washes well and doesn't shed. Fluffs right back up after washing and drying. It's not too bulky or too small, just the right size. Let me illustrate how soft this brush is: I was so desperate for relief when I had a headache that I started sweeping this brush across my forehead continuously while I waited for the Excedrin to kick in! It was really soothing. :-)

Sheds like crazy
Never been more disappointed in an elf brush. I bought it, tested it out for blush and it worked great but needed to be reshaped since the packaging squishes it so I washed it. I didn't even use soap yet and bristles were practically all falling out. Definitely would not recommend.

Soft and slightly dense
Picks up powder well and feels great on my very sensitive skin - used it for powder foundation as powder needs a little density in the brush to pick it up well

GREAT Powder Brush
I bought this brush 2 years ago to use with mineral powder and translucent powder and it has been the best facial powder brush ever. I hadn't noticed any bristles falling out like other previous brushes and I loved it so much I bought another to toss my well-loved one. Highly recommend!

the brush is on the smaller side. less than two inches longer than the size of a standard cell phone, probably comparable to the size of a larger cell phone

This looks a lot like the IT Cosmetics Wand Ball Powder Brush. Would anyone say it is comparable in feel and quality?

I have both the IT wand ball and this elf brush. The iT brush is much larger, rounder, and fluffier. I love them both but they are not the same at all.

You can, it's all about preference. However I wouldn't recommend this for foundation. Would most likely absorb a lot of product and leave streaks because it is not as dense as other foundation brushes. They(E.L.F) actually has a brush specifically for foundation and it works quite well for the cost.
