How do I know my size in The City Sandal?

The City Sandal runs true to size, so we recommend ordering based on your usual US size. If you are between sizes or widths, we recommend going up in size.

How do I know my width in The City Sandal?

Our City Sandal is made from soft Italian nappa and suede and will soften and mold to your foot with wear. Ideally, the straps at the front of your foot should feel fitted but not too snug when you first put them on. The back straps are not designed to fit entirely flush against your ankle and heel so that they are comfortable as you move and walk. Like the straps at the front of the foot, they will soften with wear, and any initial gapping will become slightly less noticeable with time.

How do I care for my City Sandals?

Our nappa City Sandals are made from a soft Italian nappa leather. Nappa leather is permeable, so avoid exposure to water and rain. To maintain the sheen and finish over time, you can use a quality leather lotion. Our suede City Sandals are made from Italian suede, a surprisingly durable material. Marks and scuffs to the suede can be gently removed using a suede brush and cleaning spray, like those provided in our suede care kit. Regular treatment with a protectant spray can also help prevent signs of future wear.

How does the fit compare to other styles?

The City Sandal has a comparable fit to The Platform Sandal, Carmine Mule, and Carmine Platform, as all are made on the same last.

How should the straps fit?

The tailored front straps of the City Sandal should fit snugly but comfortably around the widest part of your foot. The straps at the heel will not be entirely flush against your foot in order to allow for comfortable movement throughout the day.

When will I get my order?

Bespoke pairs ordered through the atelier are handmade to order at our factory in Spain and ship within 10-12 weeks of order–right in time for your big day. Keep in mind that you may want your shoes for your dress fittings, so please take your fitting timeline into account when placing your order.

How can I see the color and material options IRL before ordering?
