BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA

PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA!!!! I fell in love with Pipette after trying so many different mineral sunscreens - it was the only one I was willing to wear on my face daily. Now they completely ruined it and are losing me and many more customers.

Just when i thought i found a great product they go and change the formula. New formula is not good. difficult to spread on face as it’s too thick and leaves a white residue on the face.

I used to LOVE the old formula, I had repurchased countless times, and I am honestly DEVASTATED that they discontinued it to change the formula! I don't need a waterproof sunscreen, there are plenty on the market, I need one for daily wear, and this one *was* perfect. It didn't have any ingredients that broke me out which is so rare for a lot of natural/mineral sunscreens. UGH! Have to go find another brand now,

Bring back the old version. Dried out my child's skin terribly. Sometimes it's nice to use a non-waterproof sunscreen and we loved the old version for daily wear. Can't use the new version.

I’ve been using this sunscreen for my toddler who is super sensitive to all products and has eczema. We LOVED the old version. The new version is AWFUL. As the price has creeped up over the years, I continued to purchase. Not anymore. The new vision is a thick paste that kids hate. It is difficult to rub in, leaves my child looking like a ghost, and is super hard to wash off of skin, fabric, and car leather. It’s disappointing when companies are bought out and change the products customers know and love. The old version was perfect and should continue to be sold. The new version is less product, terrible consistency, and more money! I used to love all Pipette products but have now started buying other brands.

I really wish they hadn't changed the formula to be water resistant which ruined the daily wear aspect. This now goes on thick, leaves a white cast on pale skin, and feels very uncomfortable. Please bring the old formula back, the most critical aspect of sunscreen is to be able to wear daily. I don't need a sunscreen for the pool or beach (there are plenty of strong candidates for occasional water events), I need something that is comfortable to wear every single day.

I used to LOVE this product and used it on both kids. Then they changed the ingredients and my daughter has broken out in a really bad rash all over her body. If you look up Reddit and Amazon reviews, there are multiple users with the same issue. Buy something better. My poor daughter has a rough couple of days and she doesn't even have sensative skin.

bought this to take with me on vacation, absolutely love. not only are the ingredients clean, they are also acne safe (non-comedogenic) so i’m obsessed. i have extremely sensitive skin and that’s so hard to find so i was so happy to find this for a fair price too. wore it all day at the beach today and didn’t burn <3 it does leave a small tint of white cast but that’s what you get with mineral sunscreen. i would rather that than nasty chemicals on my skin.
Extremely disappointed about formula change :(

What a mistake in the formulation change! The new formula is super thick, difficult to apply, leaves an obvious and overwhelming whitecast on my pale complexion, and honestly just feels awful on my skin. It is now basically no different in terms of application and result than any other sensitive skin/baby mineral sunscreen that you can buy anywhere. The skin-healthy moisturizers like squalane and glycerin are now way lower on the ingredient list and it is loaded with waxes and polymers that negatively affect the consistency; it feels like wearing a mask when on the face. It pales greatly in comparison to the original formulation, which was lightweight, easy to apply, had minimal whitecast, and felt wonderful and moisturizing when on. Why not at least offer both options, with and without water resistance? Not every Pipette consumer is a parent taking their kid to the beach: the new water resistance is not a positive change for me, and I assume I am not the only one. The old formulation was the best mineral sunscreen I ever used, and the only one I have bought for the last 4-5 years. To my extreme disappointment, this will no longer be the case. If, like me, the Pipette sunscreen was a holy grail for you due to its elegant formulation that actually felt like skincare instead of sunscreen, I recommend skipping the new formulation and looking elsewhere for a comfortable, non-drying, all-mineral sunscreen to use on your face. It is such a shame: the sunscreen was Pipette's unique defining product, its flagship, in my mind---to change the formulation so drastically was a huge mistake.
Disappointing changes

I have been using the original Pipette sunscreen for years and have loved it. The new formula is not as easy to apply, the size of the bottle is smaller, and it’s about double the price it was a few years ago. Disappointed.

Super surprised that overall people do not recommend. I searched high and low, and this is it! I wanted an every day wear sunscreen and I’m on my fourth bottle! Super scandalous, they made it smaller and kept the same price 😅 and I also feel the consistency has changed, that it’s thicker. Either way with my most recent purchase I still feel that it goes on easily with no white cast and doesn’t leave me greasy. I’m a lighter Hispanic and my bf is tan and neither one of us gets a white cast No grease No smell No skin reactions No white cast I use this every day arms legs chest for every day and I’m happy. I’m serious about sun protection lol. I recommend and will keep buying as long as things don’t change!

I like that it is fragance free, doesn't bother my eyes at all. Only thing I dislike was the heavy white cast and it taste longer to blend in. I had to returned it ASAP. I tried to love it but couldn't.

I love this brand! After doing so much research into baby products I decided to go with Pipette. I have used this now 3 times on my very pale 8 month old. There is no white cast and it rubs in very easy, it’s not greasy, and did not break him out. There was no irritation or burning of his skin and after being in the sun each time, he didn’t have one bit of sunburn on him. It’s a little more expensive but totally worth it
Smaller bottle, same price...

Super annoying that Pipette used to make a 4 oz. bottle for the same $14.99 price. However, as far as mineral sunscreens go, it is a great consistency. Much easier to rub in compared to other brands and doesn’t smell too bad.
