- How can I prevent pilling and maintain the quality of my AirEssentials product?
- Pilling can happen with even the highest quality fabrics, and our premium modal fabric should be handled with care.
- To help prevent pilling:
- Wash your AirEssentials inside-out in a mesh bag for delicates to reduce friction during washing.
- Machine-wash in cold water with like colors.
- Tumble dry on low heat.
- If needed, iron on low heat.
- What can I do if my AirEssentials starts pilling?
- You can use a sweater stone, comb or fabric shaver to gently remove pills from the surface of the fabric:
- Lay your garment flat on a firm surface.
- Use short, gentle strokes, holding the shaver at an angle so that only one side of the blades makes contact with the fabric.
- Clear the shaver regularly to prevent lint buildup.
- Once pills have been removed, handle your AirEssentials with care to prevent further pilling.
- You can use a sweater stone, comb or fabric shaver to gently remove pills from the surface of the fabric:
