We have used it for fruit but also plan to use it for meat and cheese for a sandwich platter and for a veggie tray. I plan to have my husband use it for when he is grilling and needs a place to put his cooked meat, especially for those times that we choose to host others. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is melamine serving platter by Hearth and Hand is a little lower quality than I am used to expecting from this brand, which was a bit disappointing. The plaid pattern is really cute for hosting a party. The size is great for organizing utensils, or for a snack tray as well, with fresh fruits and veggies. It has just enough of a rounded edge to keep everything contained without looking like a baking sheet. I received an incentive to write this review.

I like that it helps brighten up the room for spring and summer. It had such a cute plaid pattern to it. If you are planning to use it as an actual dinner platter you’ll be in luck too. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I love about this tray is that is very big- much bigger than I was expecting based on the picture! The colors are cute but then pattern is a little more grandma-ish than I was hoping for but it’s still grandma-ish in the best way possible. I feel like you could do a lot with this tray- especially if you placed a bowl in the middle for a dip! The tray is a tad heavy but good quality I received an incentive to write this review.

Sturdy and cute, fun summer print. Slight crease in the paper (printed part) on one corner. Took it back to exchange and saw all others were the same. Must be how it's made? Always wish melamine held up better in dishwasher. Doesn't keep me from buying but I do think colors on back will fade so I’ll just hand wash. Just something to be aware of.
