Jacket design by Ralph Thomson, 1st printing, although slight lean book appears to have been little read, gift inscription to ffep, two corners bumped, mild age toning to page ends (not effecting text), some shelf wear and minor discolouration to ends. D/j is not price clipped ( original price of 18s has a Book Society Choice price sticker showing 16s covering it but is still visible), there is some loss to head of D/j spine and at rear, D/j spine is sun faded, D/j flaps have some ageing and there is some shelf wear. D/j is now protected by a clear removable sleeve. This copy has been owned by me for over 30 years. Seller Inventory # 049717
