I was really looking forward to trying The Doux hair products, but unfortunately, they did not work out for me. After using them for a short period of time, I experienced significant scalp irritation. My scalp became itchy and uncomfortable, which was quite disappointing. Due to this reaction, I had to return all of The Doux products that I purchased. It's a shame because I had high hopes for them, but they just weren't suitable for my scalp

I've noticed this foam doesn't define and hold my hair like it used to. I've been using this foam for two years, truly my holy grail..and really the product that allowed me to fall in love with my natural hair and wear it out. Now, it's SO frizzy and the definition is just not there. I'm so disappointed. I dont know what they changed but it's made this product unusable for me and I have 3 full bottles in my cabinet.

It's hard to pick my favorites cuz list when I think I'm sold on one they pop out with another banging product. Just give them a try.. especially if you're dealing with hard to tame/manage curls. You won't be disappointed.

I’m fine strand, low density 3c/4a hair and this product literally never fails. I swapped to crazy sexy curl because I like more frizz to add volume to my fine hair. But that said, I have never swapped from a product because my hair was *too* defined before I met this one. Amazing mousse. I keep it in my stash for the days when the humidity is oppressive. or if I’m traveling and want more hold in my wash n go so I don’t have to worry about re-setting it as often.

My 4 year old has very fine very straight hair. I use this to keep his bangs to the side. I tried everything from organic kids haircare to salon brands. It smells great, does not burn his eyes. He doesn’t fuss when I put it on. Comes home from school and hair never looks greasy. Can be used for all types of hair.

Yall did the dam thing!! I have 4b/4c and never have I had this much definition and retained moisture with a mouse In my life. Y’all got me pairing this with big poppa gel for wash n go’s now. I am a wah and go girlie for the first time. I also use just the foam and water after I condition my hair for twists outs and braid outs! The definition lasts yall! Please don’t ever change the formula!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m familiar with the Doux brand and in particular this mousse. The foam is styler meant for a multitude of styles. In my case I used it on a twist out for my low porosity high density coily-kinky hair. It’s like any other foam, it dissolves quickly enough though if your hair was wetter (than actually damp) like mine it may take a moment. And with my useage on my damp borderline wet hair it applied great with my pairing of their 808 gel. It smoothed down my strands seamlessly and kept my hair shaft hydrated. I use a plastic bag to “seal” my LCO steps and did that here too. Within the first 3 days my hair in its twist out still in faced minimal frizz at the roots and felt moisturized. But on that 5th day my hairline had the crunch and flakes. I’m prone to buildup, live in a hard water stare; so I use a filter - meaning I know how improper cleansing can mess up a hairstyle. But that wasn’t the case here. My scalp felt drier and my hairline had some flakes. The moisture I had was sucked straight out. A common case for living in a humid environment as a low porosity person. So I had to discontinue using this and switch to an old favorite leave in.

This an amazing product and the first foam that has been able to slick my 4C natural hair. It glided tbrough my hair effortlessly. So glad I found it. I will buy again and again!

Doux Mousse DEF Texture Foam is the only styling mousse that we use in our household! The curl definition is on point and leaves hair soft to the touch.

I will add my photos soon, but I'm glad I found the website because I've been looking for the brand since I used it for the first time. Let me tell you, out of all the gels, foams, and overall haircare products, this is hands-down the best product I've used in years. The name is truly self-explanatory, "texture foam"... I've never seen my hair so curly! Whenever I need to present myself or step out with little to zero time, this is my go-to product.

Starting on my natural hair journey. I heard great things about this hair mousse especially for the type 4 girlies. Happy to say I love it so far it defines my coils/curls and hydrates!!!

One of the best mouses I have used, never expected a mouse alone to leave my curls so soft and defined and give my hair the perfect amount of hold. Love the ingredients on this as well.

Used this for twist outs, braid outs, and wash and gos. My curls were hydrated and soft and defined. Ill be buying 20 of them so I never run out lol
