Cadbury Mini Eggs Milk Chocolate Easter Candy - 9oz

I have been eating these for decades and look forward to Easter every year to get them again. They are not the same. The shells are soft, thin and crumbly and the chocolate tastes different. What a disappointment.

These eggs are like crack to my family….

They taste the same as when I had them over a decade ago, I’m glad they still are delicious

I always look forward to these showing up in stores each easter but this year the shells are all weirdly soft and crumbly. The shell also seems to be less sweet. Completely ruins them for me and I hope this was just some manufacturing issue and not an official change since when I get the fun size bag the shells seem to be like they used to be.

As others have reported...the shells are stale and soft. What happened?! Crunch and flavor gone. We usually eat several big bags of these every Easter. This is the first year we won't be finishing even 1 bag!

Target stores take no care with packaging items. Items are continually sent with no padding/wrapping so items arrive damaged, crushed or broken. Item put in larger box with no protection so bag was thrown around and all the chocolates got damaged. This bag of chocolates was a REPALCEMENT for the first bag I ordered that arrived in the same crushed condition. Was going to use these for Easter as a gift however unable to do so.

Previously a favorite. These are not the same Cadbury mini eggs. Very disappointed in texture of the shell and quality of the chocolate. So sad. I will miss this seasonal treat. 😢😢😢

The shell on these is now soft. NOT the same taste or quality. I looked forward to these each year and now will not buy again. Bring back the old recipe and you’ll bring back the original recipe and you’ll bring back customers…please!

Same as many have posted, this used to be my favorite easter treat to share with my mom, now this tiny precious memory is totally ruined and literally turned to diarrhea. I see from previous posts that they refuse to answer whether or not this chocolate is safe for celiacs ... ask my stomach, I can assure you it is not. Thanks for ruining this amazing tradition, Hersheys!

These used to be so delicious, now they are just okay. I buy a bag of these EVERY year and always looked forward to the spring because they would be available. This year it seems something has been changed and they just aren't the same. Probably won't buy again unless it's announced the formula has been changed back ): Really disappointed I seem to have lost my favorite easter treat

The new recipe is awful. They’ve been my favorite candy since I was a kid, and I am so sad they have changed!

What on earth were you thinking, Cadbury? Mini Eggs used to have a rich chocolate center. I might have been able to ignore the change in that, but to meddle with the unique taste and texture of the shell is a step too far. Now there’s no reason to buy your product - especially at the current price point- instead of some other generic chocolate.

Something is definitely off with the shell recipe. This is my favorite Easter candy and I just got a huge bag for the spring. They taste nothing like they have in the past. The chocolate on the inside is ok, not great. And the SHELL! It’s soft and tasteless instead of sweet and crunchy. Will not ever buy these again unless they go back to the previous recipe. If it’s a choice between changing the recipe or increasing the price I wish they would have increased the price slightly. This isn’t worth buying any more. I could get cheap chocolate eggs from a dollar store and have a better experience.

These used to be the BEST Easter candy out there and it’s been my favorite treat for the last 25 years. Now, the recipe is way different actually disgusting. The creamy chocolate flavor is gone and the outer shell tastes like stale chemicals. BRING BACK THE OLD RECIPE! The new recipe is horrendous!

This candy is my current favorite with Easter around the corner. The chocolate is sweet and delightful, and the candy coating is really crunchy creating the perfect bite with each egg.

Please go back to the old recipe. The shell is no longer crunchy and the chocolate isn’t creamy and has no flavor.

Every year I look forward to “mini egg season.” I always get a big bag and savor it as long as it lasts. I just sat down with a new bag my husband excitedly bought for me today as a surprise. I noticed they didn’t smell the same as soon as I opened the bag. When I tasted one I was shocked. The shell is a horrible texture and tastes nothing like it should. The crispiness is gone, the chocolate is awful and it left a disgusting taste in my mouth. Unless the original recipe is brought back, I will no longer be purchasing these and consider them ruined.

The shell on this year's chocolates are TERRIBLE - not crisp at all. Nothing like the ones that I have loved for so long. What a disappointment! PLEASE PLEASE go back to the old recipe.

Cadbury Mini Eggs have been a loved staple in my family since I was a kid in the 90s. We used to purchase bags of them each week, but now we can’t even eat them at all.. we have tried purchasing from different vendors and it’s all the same - a horrible chemical like taste from both the shell and the chocolate. Nothing like the sweet sugary shell from before or the creamy milk chocolate from before. Please go back to your original recipe!
