  1. Neck Opening: Measure from neck seam to neck seam at the widest part of the neckline 
  2. Across shoulder: From shoulder point to shoulder point, across the back
  3. Bust: Measure down 1” from the underarm along the side seam, then measure across the garment keeping the measuring tape level and slightly taut. 
  4. Waist: Find the narrowest part of the garment body and measure across. Double the measurement for the total circumference, eg. 13" x 2 = 26" waist. 
  5. Hip: Find the widest part of the garment approximately 6" from the waist and measure across. Double the measurement for the total circumference, eg. 17" x 2 = 34" hip. 
  6. Sleeve Bicep: Measure the widest part of the sleeve when lying flat 1 inch below the armhole.
  7. Sleeve Length: Measure in a straight line, from the center of the back to the point of the shoulder, then from the tip of the shoulder to the cuff, and combine the measurements.
  8. Sweep: With the garment laid flat, measure from edge to edge at the bottom opening. Double the measurement for the total circumference.
  9. Length: Measure down the center of the back, from the top edge of the garment to the hem.

  1. Neck: Wrap the measuring tape around the base of your neck, beginning at the side. Don’t pull too tightly, maintain just enough tension so that you are getting a true measurement.
  2. Across shoulder: Starting from the edge of one shoulder, measure along the back of your body until you reach your other shoulder edge.
  3. Bust: Measure the bust at the fullest part, wrapping the measuring tape around your body. Be sure to keep the measuring tape parallel to the floor maintaining a straight, horizontal line across both your front and back.
  4. Waist: Stand up straight in a relaxed, normal position. Run the tape around the narrowest part of your natural waist. This is usually where the belly button is.
  5. Measure your hips: Stand with your feet together. Measure around the fullest part of your hips and rear. This is typically midway between your crotch and your belly button.
  6. Arm length: Starting from the top of your shoulder, with your arm held straight, measure along the outer part of your body until you reach your wrist.
  7. Bicep: Measure around the largest part of your arm, above the elbow.
  8. Wrist: Wrap the measuring tape around your wrist line, where your arm meets your hand.
  9. Thigh: Wrap the tape measure around the widest and highest part of the thigh.
  10. Inside leg: Place the tape measure at the uppermost point of the inner thigh and measure down to the ankle.
