Q: Can the wooden play gym be stood up without being attached to the mat, or will it only stand up when attached to the play mat? I want to be able to use it with the play mat or with a bouncer underneath.

A: Thanks for reaching out! While we do not recommend using anything other than the included Activity Mat under The Play Gym, the Activity Mat is not required in order for the wooden legs to stand up.

My granddaughter absolutely loves using this for playtime in her back and stomach. It is very sturdy and easy to change out activities. The assembly was very easy. Only problem that has been mentioned to me by her parents is that they wish there was a little more cushion, but I think it’s because it’s not on a carpeted floor.

The play gym is great and well-made. However, for the price, it should come with a travel cover so it can be taken on the go for baby. Also, the pieces with plastic ("Learn to focus" cardholders) should be detachable to make washing/cleaning the play gym easier.

I was gifted this play gym for our second baby and WOW I can’t believe I missed out on having this for our first! Our son absolutely loves it and our toddler enjoys playing with him in it too! 10/10 best activity gym and a top 3 item (in my opinion) to have for a new baby!
