Q: Can this chair be stained to a darker shade?

The chair arrived damaged. Black marks all down the leg of chair. packaging horrible box all taped up know filler inside. Sent chair back have not received my new one. Very disappointed. Never again.

More or less you’re sitting on a square cane chair, the pillows offer nothing. Makes this fine for brief periods of sitting, but not ideal for cozying up. It’s also narrow, and kinda low to the ground. No big deal for me (5’2”) but 6’ spouse finds it a lot less comfortable. Just measure to validate it’s right for you and your space. Otherwise it’s very cute. Neutral with character. I got it for $120 via sale and thought it was worth about that much.

I love the look of these chairs. Love. However the quality control is a problem. One of our chairs came with a bottom cushion that was the wrong size. It didn’t have the straps that attach to the seat and it’s noticeably smaller. I’ve had to try to try to hide it with a throw pillow. But not only is it smaller it’s less full too. The chairs aren’t sold in store so it’s difficult to get that cushion replaced.

I’m absolutely in love. Arrived pretty quickly and not l damaged, thank goodness. Want to get an ottoman to prop my feet up in the future. It’s fairly comfortable for being a smaller chair, I only gave a 4 star for comfort cuz it prob won’t be cozy for someone bigger than a petite size. No need to assembly, just took it out of the box and is easy to move around. It’s a beautiful chair.
