ABOUT THE FOUNDER
South-African born Daniella Kallmeyer started her career working for New York brand Luca Luca while a student at Syracuse University, before transferring to receive a BFA with honours from the London College of Fashion where her graduate collection was hand selection for a prestigious presentation at the Royal Academy. After garnering experiences at prominent designers such as Proenza Schouler and Alexander McQueen, she launched KALLMEYER independently in 2012. She has been recognized by international press, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, and received prolific awards such as the Saint Louis Fashion Fund and Cosmo’s Emerging Designer of the Year. As a proudly out queer woman, Daniella’s sensibility and instinct towards empowering her clients through their wardrobes is deeply connected to her own identity. Over the course of the last decade and change, Kallmeyer has struck a consistent and highly coveted balance between masculine and feminine energies in her creations, whilst building a strong and loyal community.
