I've tried many top coats and this is my holy grail
I've tried top coats from a handful of indie brands as well as a few different formulas from Essie, and this is the one I always return to. Paired with some OPI quick dry drops, this makes my manis crystal clear, glossy, and dry to the touch within 15 minutes. I feel comfortable being mobile and using my hands after 30 minutes. I get my nails professionally shaped/painted (+ a pedi!) twice a year and I bring my own polish and top coat. My nail tech was so impressed by how confident I was having her apply cuticle oil only ten minutes after applying this top coat, and she was even more impressed when it actually was dry enough for the oil! I have probably 4 bottles of this that I pour one into another and add a bunch of thinner to, and it keeps working fabulously. It does have a tendency to get stringy, even after thinner, but I've found the strings rarely stick to the polish and they don't leave a noticeable mark even if they do knick the polish. I HIGHLY recommend this as a top coat to anyone who asks!
This product has a lasting shine
I was looking for something that would give my nails a lasting shine, this delivers. And it dries fast.
Plumping Top Coat
I love this top coat. Goes on so smoothly and dries quickly, even in the Florida humidity. No sheet marks the next morning. I usually do my own nails, but didn't have time before going on a trip. Stopped at a fancy salon in Savannah and they couldn't believe I didn't have gel polish on. It took a bit of convincing, but they were shocked when it came right off with polish remover. It's so plump and keeps my nails strong. I reapply every 2 days to prevent chips and keep my nails super shiny.
I've had this on a whole week and NO CHIPS
Had my doubts about this, but it works! I look like I had a gel manicure and it's just regular polish with this as a top coat. LOVE! No more ruining my nails.
Stringy Mess
This worked really well for about a quarter of the bottle, then it started getting really stringy and wouldn't go smoothly on my nails. it leaves pockets uncovered and sticks to itself so you can't correct it. Not worth the money and way too fickle to trust, especially with nail art.
