Q: seriously 45.00 for a tumbler?!?!

submitted by BJ - 2 years ago
  • A: Sure is! People paid that for Yetis just a few years ago. These have been around for ages. This is not new. The colors are new. The company went from 75 million to 750 million. Genius marketing!

submitted byBoss - 1 year ago
  • A: Is the black one smooth like the other colors? Or is it more scratchy feeling like the other types of Stanley?

submitted bycharlezel - 3 months ago
  • A: https://www.target.com/p/40oz-stainless-steel-straw-tumbler-light-blue-embark-8482/-/A-88632446?preselect=88632446#lnk=sametab $15

submitted byATTCA - 1 year ago
  • A: These are worth the money if u can snag a cool collab since they are all the same price. The basic colors will do but means my money waited til I found one that said it was meeeee like I got the OR purple one that is rare I was picked to buy and the white colorblock one from dicks and the swirly one that looked like lover album and then got my fiancé into them and got the neon yellow for him and ALL I spent hours off and on locating matching boots and straw toppers off amazon. Question: can anyone please post the info I’m looking for the acrylic round cover in the purple and stars to put on my OR cup. I can’t find amazon. Maybe Etsy.

submitted byTrenderella - 6 months ago
  • A: It’s an aesthetic.

  • A: Dude I have 25 dollar water bottle from Amazon and it keeps ice for a week and is a lot bigger plus it’s lead free and doesn’t leak and has multiple attachments that’s lasted me for years around 6 ish

submitted byBillie eilish - 9 months ago
  • A: Yeah because its a trending item right now.

submitted bykateban - 2 years ago
  • A: Hysterical that everyone comes here to complain! Go to Instagram if you wanna be a troll! Grow up people! Do we complain about what you spend your $ on?

submitted byTroll Hater - 8 months ago
  • A: I lost mine with ice in it for a week and found it one week later and the ice was STILL there. so 45 for that insulation isn't that bad

submitted byalexandria - 1 year ago
  • A: While it is expensive, they are incredibly durable. A 32 oz HydroFlask is $42 so keep that in mind while complaining about the price of a good quality bottle.

submitted bycece - 9 months ago
  • A: i mean they survive car fires soo yaaa

submitted bytt - 1 year ago
  • A: Soooo expensive just for a water bottle

submitted byJose - 9 months ago
  • A: They are the best cups ever so worth it

submitted byAbbigale - 1 year ago
  • A: I actually agree with you this is ridiculous consumerism is real

submitted byBLuMaRs - 9 months ago
  • A: It may seem like a really bad price for a water bottle but they are very durable, I've dropped mine several times and it is still in brand new condition and it is a big water bottle and very nice.

submitted byMrstuhler - 1 year ago
  • A: I love my Stanley its the Popsicle pink Starburst color and im going to get a TON of Stanley cup Accessories to decorate my Stanley. I think this is the worlds best cup EVER made by the Stanley brand.

submitted by - 2 months ago
  • A: If you can't afford $45 for a cup, move along. It's not that much for the quality you get. There are cheaper versions that don't hold up nearly as well.

    submitted byMaryG41 - 1 year ago
  • A: No it's not lame, and before you come on here hating, check your spelling and grammer. Thanks!

submitted byOlivia - 1 year ago

Q: I'm buying this for my nine-year-old daughter is there a big difference in a 30 ounce and 40 ounce

submitted by Jay - 1 year ago
  • A: Well if i buy my nine yr old a 40 onz shes not gonna carry it but there is no 30 onz of that same stanley for the thirty ounce so if your and adult then yayaya

submitted byAriana Grande - 9 months ago
  • A: 40 I bigger and much heavier I prefer the 30

submitted byHehe - 9 months ago
  • A: not really but the 40 oz you don't have to refill as much u have to do with the 30 oz

submitted byTee - 1 year ago
  • A: I don't think there is because I have both of them and they are kind of the same.

submitted byKatie - 1 year ago
  • A: I think the 40 oz is too heavy. I prefer 24 oz or 30oz Stanley Bottles.

submitted bySheryl - 7 months ago
  • A: 40 oz is definitely to big for a nine year old

submitted byDolCocRem - 2 months ago
  • A: I've found that the 30oz is much easier and lighter to use. The 40oz is handy but it's so heavy when there's liquid in it. For your daughter, a 30oz should be perfect!

    submitted byMaryG41 - 1 year ago
  • A: Yes, 10 ounces!!!!!!!!

submitted byWhatever - 9 months ago
  • A: the 30oz might be a better option to fit in her backpack and it is lighter

submitted byalexandria - 1 year ago
  • A: A 30 oz Stanley is significantly smaller. If you fill both up and compare them, the 30 oz is also lighter. I would recommend a 30 oz since she might not even drink all of that water, and it'll be easier to carry.

submitted bycece - 9 months ago
  • A: The 30 oz is better for a younger kid it’s smaller and I would highly recommend the flip top Stanley because she will spill it everywhere all the time or you could get things on Amazon to stop the bottle from leaking

submitted byScreename - 9 months ago
  • A: The difference is 10 ounces.

submitted bywhirleybird - 1 year ago
  • A: 10 ounces! The 40 ounce is much heavier when filled!

submitted byJan - 1 year ago
  • A: For a nine year old I would get the 20 ounce one.

submitted byJj - 1 year ago

Q: do all of these Stanley's leak especially the wisteria?

submitted by Aryanna - 2 years ago
  • A: please someone reply!

submitted byAryanna - 2 years ago
  • A: They aren't spill proof On Amazon you can get spill stopper specifically for this and I highly recommend them they help so much and are a live saver

submitted byAbbigale - 1 year ago
  • A: These vessels are NOT spill-proof. They have an opening to use a straw or just drink out of the opening (sans straw). They are meant to be kept upright. They will leak otherwise. Hope this helps.

submitted bySFBaygirl - 2 years ago
  • A: all Stanley quenchers will spill if turned upside down or they fall over. The spill proof are the flip top Stanley's.

submitted byTheresa - 2 years ago
  • A: I do not think so because I have one and they do not.

submitted byKatie - 1 year ago
  • A: these have the built in stopper for liquid around the straw but if held upside down will leak from out of the straw area

submitted byAnonomus - 2 years ago
  • A: If you want something leakproof, get a Brumate!

submitted bywhirleybird - 1 year ago
  • A: If you turn them to the side or upside down - yes, they will obviously leak due to the straw opening (you can buy specific silicone rings to solve this issue). Otherwise, no, they do not leak

submitted bytatiana - 2 years ago
  • A: Ok , someone asked for another to please reply . I have 2, 40 ounce Stanley’s . One was a gift to me and the other I bought . Do they leak you ask ? If held upside down deliberately while using the straw option small drips could occur but using the Stanley normal like NO it doesn’t leak even while filled with carbonated waters . You can use it without the straw as a drink cup - no drips or leaks here from mine . I also have the Stanley flip top (spout) and no leaks . My Stanley’s go outside with me to the garden and the pool area sit in blazing sun with iced drinks inside the cup and remain super cold till the drink inside is gone and ice still remains inside ! Pricey ? Yes . Sometimes they are on sale - past colors etc. the decision to spend so much is yours to do or not to do but is it worth it ? To me , yes . The quality is there for sure . Hope this answers your questions. These make great gifts for graduation , teen and adult birthdays . To spend 45.00 for a graduation gift which will be loved is actually a bargain in today’s overpriced world . This answer is only my personal opinion I am not a sponsor or a paid reviewer.

Q: Description says it is dishwasher safe. Has anyone put theirs through the dishwasher?

submitted by DawnE - 2 years ago
  • A: I put mine in the dishwasher and lots of the paint is chipping off and warping

    submitted bySchol07 - 2 months ago
  • A: I put mine on the top rack and it came out fine! I do not use the heated dry on my washer though, that might change the outcome.

submitted byEryka - 2 years ago
  • A: I use the dishwasher all the time, bottom rack or top, it doesn’t matter. These have a “lifetime warranty” and they say they are dishwasher safe.

submitted byMamablue - 9 months ago
  • A: All the time. Lids on the top cups on the bottom. Straws are washed by hand.

submitted byCmariear - 9 months ago
  • A: I wash my Stanley cup in the dishwasher and it comes out perfectly fine!

submitted byIphone - 2 years ago
  • A: It is dishwaser safe.

submitted byKatie - 1 year ago
  • A: I wash all of mine in the dishwasher!

submitted byKM - 2 years ago

Q: Can they be washed in the bottom rack of a dishwasher or do the instructions say "top rack only"? The tall ones won't fit in my dishwashers top rack & I'm wondering if the bottom rack will damage them

submitted by DJ - 1 year ago
  • A: I honestly don't know but I just hand wash mine.

submitted bymeghan - 1 year ago
  • A: I've never washed any metal water bottles in the dishwasher. I recommend handwashing it. It might take extra time but it will keep the tumbler in peak condition.

submitted bycece - 9 months ago
  • A: It does not say “top rack only” and I wash mine in the bottom rack all the time.

submitted byMamablue - 9 months ago
  • A: Yes, the cup and straw I was in the bottom and the lid I put in the top rack. Never had an issue!

submitted byNik - 8 months ago
  • A: I don't put mine in the dishwasher anymore, so I have to hand wash it. Which is a pain in the neck, but worth it. The dishwasher caused the paint/color on it to chip, peel, and warp. SO I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HAND WASHING IT!!!

    submitted bySchol07 - 2 months ago
  • A: Of course they can but I make my maid do it or my butler

submitted byVivienne Wilson - 2 months ago

Q: whats ur fav color???????????

submitted by ur mom - 1 year ago
  • A: I LOVEEE the rose quartz color they have and the baby pink color

submitted bySoobin - 11 months ago
  • A: I like my pink one. Its a lighter pink but it doesn't get dirty easily. I also like my flamingo one. That one is super cute!

submitted bymeghan - 1 year ago
  • A: Pink, it's soo pretty but it has to be a pretty pink or a light pink. I only have 1 pink Stanley it's the rose quartz, but I was the sizzling pink and the flamingo one

submitted by - 9 months ago
  • A: This is in a different addition but I love the alpine it's like a light and dark green soooo cute

submitted byVivienne Wilson - 3 months ago
  • A: Light pink!!!!!!!!!!! °~°

    submitted bySchol07 - 2 months ago
  • A: It's all about personal preference! I personally love pink ones, bright white ones, black ones, and special edition ones. Just get whatever color you like!

    submitted byMaryG41 - 1 year ago

Q: I have a hard time opening my Stanley cup! Does anyone else have trouble?

submitted by Todddannyy - 1 year ago
  • A: Yes, but only if I tighten it too much. I tighten it just enough to where it won't leak, and is still easy to get the lid off. I have found that when using any water bottle, if you tighten it too much, using a paper towel to help open it does the trick most of the time.

submitted bycece - 9 months ago
  • A: No that's really strange

submitted byIris - 1 year ago
  • A: If you tighten the lid too much it can be tricky to open. I’ve had this problem, so I make sure my lid is tight enough to not leak but not so tight I can’t open it.

submitted byMamablue - 9 months ago
  • A: Has to do with the outside temperature. I would put it in the freezer for 15 mins and that will help. Also don’t hold the handle while opening it. It can cause the handle to break off. Hold the bottom and the lid.

submitted bySoccermom - 9 months ago
  • A: No maybe you should go to the gym more often

submitted byVivienne Wilson - 2 months ago

Q: What's so different from yeti an Stanley cup? I had my yeti forever an it's still do the job. But I also just purchased the green Stanley cup. Will it be just as good

submitted by Marir - 1 year ago
  • A: It will be better. The Stanley's keep water/ice colder/frozen for longer than a yeti

    submitted bySchol07 - 2 months ago
  • A: Yes but better they keep water colder then yeti's

submitted byVivienne Wilson - 3 months ago
  • A: There a little bit different because Stanley's are better and they keep your drink cold and they last longer

submitted byVivienne Wilson - 3 months ago
  • A: yes it will be just as good

submitted byVersatile - 8 months ago
  • A: And Stanley's are preepier than yeti's🤮

submitted byVivienne Wilson - 2 months ago

Q: Does thiss tumbler sweat and leave ring marks on the counter?

submitted by kris - 1 year ago
  • A: No! they are really secure cups and don't leave rings anywhere

submitted bymadi - 1 year ago
  • A: Nope not at all and amazing cup!

submitted byAbbigale - 1 year ago
  • A: Nope. They do no do that

    submitted bySchol07 - 2 months ago
  • A: Nope most metal water bottles don’t!

submitted byScreename - 9 months ago
  • A: No what do you think Stanley's are trash

submitted byVivienne Wilson - 2 months ago

Q: Does this tumbler fit into a car cup holder?

submitted by CJ - 2 years ago
  • A: Yes, they fit in vehicle cupholders. That's why I bought my off brand one that looks exactly like the Stanley.

submitted byMe - 8 months ago
  • A: Depends what kinda car you have

    submitted bySchol07 - 2 months ago
  • A: It fits in every front seat console holder I have ever used (Toyota, Honda, Chevy and others). However, it does NOT fit into some back seat cup holders (like my Honda CR-V).

submitted byMamablue - 9 months ago
  • A: yes they do fit the car holder

submitted byProfessorH - 2 years ago
  • A: Yes it does. You can buy special horders for you can fit it in your car holder.

Absolutely love Stanley’s and this color is completely gorgeous especially for Easter. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because it did come with small scratches on the side but it’s barely noticeable. I have noticed that the Stanley’s I get from target come with some small imperfections compared to ordering from the Stanley website.

I initially bought this cup because in the description it says leak proof and that's not the case whatsoever. Very cute design but it is also quite heavy to tote around. I just don't it's worth $50

I really love the design of this cup. My husband snagged it for me for Christmas so I’ve used it for leas than a month. It’s a huge cup but still fits in my cup holder and it keeps my water cold for around 24 hours! However. The holographic decals on this cup are already coming off and that’s a huge bummer. Probably will just stick with my Simple Modern cup!

Theres minor scratches that's not noticeable and the logo looks like someone was trying to scratch it off. It might have came that way and this might not bother most people but for me it's a big NO. Maybe it wouldve been a good idea to choose a different one to send to your customer.. It's safe to say I'll be ordering all my future Stanley's from their official website. Only ordered from target for a drive up because they had some "in stock" at the store, only to find out they had to ship it from somewhere else. Would've gave this a 1 star but it got to me fast so I'll rate it 2 stars.
