Makes my hair more dry, brittle feeling

This set didn't work for my hair in its current state, thus the 2-star rating but it might work for yours. I bought two different shampoo/conditioner sets to try, focusing on dry/thinning hair: the Rosemary and the Sensitive. I also bought the hair masque bar. I went through a massive hair loss exac...tly 3 months after getting the flu at the start of this year (2024) and my hair texture also seemed to dry out overnight. I started learning more about specific ingredients, as my hair care products were already pretty clean, but I wanted something better for my hair type and environment where I live and I know some ingredients are a no-go for me. I read that rosemary oil and rosemary water helped hair growth (however for some it doesn't work well, depending on hair type) and these bars are pretty clean ingredient wise. I first tried the Sensitive set and loved it. It made my hair soft and it styled well. After a couple of times of using Sensitive, I switched over to the Rosemary and Biotin bars. In the shower I could tell my hair felt a little stripped down from the shampoo. The conditioner made it feel softer so I hoped it would turn out ok. Once dry, my hair didn't feel that good, it felt dry and frizzy. Though heat styling smoothed it out a little, it wasn't as good of a result as the Sensitive set. Later I tried the Rosemary & Biotin shampoo with the hair masque as the conditioner and afterwards my hair felt heavy and weighed down. I tried that same combo on my daughter who has lots of beautiful, healthy hair, but summer and swimming pools have dried it out the last few months. Her hair had a waxy feel to it and it tangled easily when dry. I switched her to the Sensitive set and it went back to normal. I'm sure these ingredients would work better for someone with a different hair type/condition, but not for me. My hair is fine and until I got the flu and lost 70% of my hair, I had a lot of it. Now I have several months of new growth so I'm better able to tell how products affect my fresh strands. Rosemary & Biotin made it frizzy and dry, the masque seemed to weigh it down a little, and the Sensitive Bars are amazing for me. I will continue to buy those. I would like to try the Castor Oil bars, but in a smaller sample size (without having to buy an entire set). I would also like to buy sample sizes of the Sensitive for travel, but I'll likely just cut a small square off my normal bars and take those with me.
