We’ve been weaving here at Tregwynt since 1912 so we’re lucky to have an archive full of colour and pattern and in 2017 we brought back our Vintage Star design, originally in production here in the 1950's.

We've made the new version in both classic and contemporary colours but still with all the features of traditional Welsh tapestry blankets. The warmth and breathability of wool coupled with a vibrant reversible design makes this pattern a striking addition to any room.

Traditional welsh blankets and bedspreads are always reversible and ours are finished with a simple hem so you can choose which side works best in your home.

Woven in 100% pure new wool and practical for everyday use, warm, durable but still easy to care for.

Care

We recommend DRY CLEANING our blankets & throws, but you can WASH BY HAND in cold or cool water (no more than 30 degrees) using a delicate detergent. Move the fabric gently in the water for a couple of minutes. RINSE with cold water and press the excess moisture out - don't wring. Follow with a quick SPIN in the washing machine. Pull into shape whilst damp to straighten, then line dry on a breezy day or dry flat. Cool iron if necessary. We do not advise using a Wool Wash programme on your washing machine for blankets and throws. Interesting facts...Wool can absorb 30% of its weight in water before feeling wet so you may need to use the bath for king-sized blankets!....Leaving in water for a length of time will damage the fibres, felting and shrinking the fabric. UK - We will deliver products ordered by you by courier using DPD or postal service to the delivery address that you have given us. If the item you ordered is in stock, it will be despatched within 3-5 working days (during special promotions this may increase to 5 to 10 working days) but please allow up to 28 days as some of our products are made to order or any lead-time specified for the manufactured product you ordered. When we process your order, we will also notify you if any product is not available. Furniture is made to order and they have a lead time of 10-12 weeks. Lampshades are made to order and have a lead time of 6-8 weeks.

Europe - We will deliver products ordered by you by courier using DPD to the address you have given us. If the item you ordered is in stock, it will be despatched within 3-5 working days (during special promotions this may increase to 5 to 10 working days) but please allow up to 28 days as some of our products are made to order or any lead-time specified for the manufactured product you ordered. When we process your order, we will also notify you if any product is not available. Orders are subjected to Customs Duties and Taxes which is calculated at Customs.

ROW - We will deliver products ordered by you by courier using DPD to the address you have given us. If the item you ordered is in stock, it will be despatched within 7-10 working days (during special promotions this may increase to 10-15 working days) but please allow up to 40 days as some of our products are made to order or any lead-time specified for the manufactured product you ordered. When we process your order, we will also notify you if any product is not available. Orders are subjected to Customs Duties and Taxes which is calculated at Customs.

Returns

Returns and Refunds

As a consumer you have the right to cancel your order by notifying us within 28 days of receipt. All customers who cancel under this statutory "cooling off period" are entitled to a refund including the cost of delivery, are required to return the relevant products to us within such 28 day period, in their original condition, complete, labelled, unused and unwashed and will be reimbursed the reasonable cost incurred in returning the products. THESE CONDITIONS DO NOT APPLY TO SPECIAL COMMISSIONED AND BESPOKE ITEMS.
