Founder & CEO

I started DanceBody in 2013 because I was searching for a workout that combined challenging cardio with functional strength exercises to enhance the female form. As a professional dancer, my body was lean, but dancing alone wasn't enough to keep my muscles strong. I found that dance, paired with high intensity, functional strength training, is the secret to creating the lean lines of a dancer, athletic strength, improved mental health, & increased vitality. Dance is the fountain of youth, I feel stronger now than when I was dancing professionally! Aside from the physical benefits, dance is a joyful form of movement that unites us all. I'm passionate about sharing that energy with everyone.

New to DanceBody?

You don’t need to be a dancer to get results from DanceBody - all are welcome! Our program is built around six core classes: three sculpt-based and three cardio-based, each designed to deliver a powerful mix of resistance training and aerobic conditioning. If you’re looking for a sculpt class, start with Sculpt: Mat. If you’re looking for a cardio class, start with Cardio: HIIT. DanceBody is for all fitness levels - two left feet be damned. If you’re looking for nice people dancing to good music, this is the place.

DanceBody Class Types

Dance Cardio, Sculpt, And More

  • Sculpt: MAT

    Mat creates foundational strength with a strong focus on activating the core and glutes. Similar to a Pilates Mat class, but with more intensity and higher heart rate, this class blends dance-inspired movements with light resistance and high repetitions. Improves your posture, flexibility, balance, and stability.

  • Cardio: HIIT

    HIIT blends together sweaty intervals of follow-along cardio moves with heart pumping sculpt sequences making it one really efficient workout. Expect to be on your feet, challenging your heart rate, but loving the music so much that time flies by. Boosts your metabolism, enhances VO2Max, builds stamina, and gives you a great sweat.

  • SCULPT: STRENGTH

    Strength creates lean muscle tone using functional training exercises to the beat of the best music. Using heavier weights and time under tension, this class will focus on proper form to improve your muscle tone, strength, and bone density.

Taught by performers, but created for everyone, we believe that your workout should build confidence and bring you joy while also delivering a great sweat. Tailor-made to your goals, DanceBody Private Training can be scheduled in-home, in-studio, or virtually. Each personalized one-hour session is a great way to get the training you need to expedite your fitness goals.
