Q: what kind/type of lightbulb does it use?

A: I put every type of bulb in this lamp and it didn’t work. I took it back with a sad face. I love it. I have to drive 80 miles to a target so I had to return.
submitted byLyn - 1 month agoA: Hello LB - Thank you for your enquiry. The Woven Base Table Lamp has a normal Edison medium screw base (E26), so you may use any appropriate light bulb in that socket. It is compatible with both incandescent and LED lights as long as they have an E26 base. - Rick.

A: Hi MS - Thank you for reaching out. We appreciate your interest in Table Lamp with Woven Base and Woven Shade. No, you cannot directly use battery or rechargeable bulbs in this lamp. It has an inline (cord) rotary switch, as the lamp's wiring and switch are designed for AC power, not DC battery power. I hope this helps - Emma

The lamp is stunning but mine would not stay on. I would turn it on and after a few minutes it would turn off. It comes with a lightbulb so I thought maybe that was the issue. I tried several different lightbulbs and several different outlets but the same thing happened. I am returning my lamp.

Just what I was looking for. Very pleased. I'm so surprised it survived shipping with very little protection. Other reviewers weren't so lucky. Got it on sale for $50. I think at that price it's a still little spendy but Go for it. Hope the pictures give you an idea of size

Received lamp. It's perfect size, color and shape. It's adorable! But the shade is not level and will not stay level. So after thinking I could live with it I decide I am taking it back tomorrow to local Target. Well when I was putting it back into the box it came in I found a plastic piece that appears to have broken off the shade.

Ok so I cringed at the price because it’s $70, but I kept coming back to this lamp. Finally decided to order it. It is adorable in person, and I am SO GLAD I bought it!!! It is the perfect warm, cozy little lamp. The glow and style of the light just makes my house feel even homier. I plan on using it as a kitchen counter lamp, but my husband also likes it so we are ordering a 2nd one for our bathroom! $70 is so steep for a lamp, but this one is worth it!! I am so happy I decided to buy it (and even better my husband likes it). Ordering my 2nd one now:)

Cutest lamp ever! I got it to put on the coffee table in my living room, but it would fit in anywhere. The black cord doesn't bother me, like it does some other reviewers. I don't even notice it. Someone mentioned it can be awkward to turn the lamp on and off, because of the inconvenient location of the switch up under the lampshade, but that doesn't bother me either. Some reviewers commented on the price being too high, but I think that's to be expected, as most lamps these days are very expensive. Don't hesitate. Buy it. You'll be glad you did.
