R Retinoid

VETTED Dermlab R Retinoid is our gentle but powerful anti-aging serum with a unique, non-irritating, retinoid. It is suitable for all skin types and is formulated to be especially safe for sensitive skin.

The R Retinoid features a next generation retinoid, hydroxypinacolone retinoate, which has been shown to be more potent, less irritating and more stable than other non-prescription retinoids. For maximal impact, the serum also contains squalane, a deeply hydrating ingredient that helps smooth fine lines, improve skin firmness, and strengthen the skin barrier.

Active Ingredients

Hydroxypinacolone retinoate

Hydroxypinacolone retinoate (HPR) is the retinoid we use in our anti-aging formula. HPR is more active (as measured in DNA gene transcription and procollagen production), less irritating, and more stable than other non-prescription retinoids.

Squalane

A modified and more stable form of squalene, an emollient chemical present in our sebum. Squalane increases cell turnover, improves skin elasticity, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and enhances the skin barrier. Vetted’s squalane is derived from olives.
