    I use the product on my face overall. I'm not happy with the product since it's been revamped because it's not the same formula! This new hyaluronic acid serum is weak and barely does anything for the skin. I don't see any differences so I had to start using another line for hyaluronic acid serums.

When I last ordered, it changed, to adding dewy and now has a very displeasing scent, color change and drys out my skin. Please go back to the original formula then I will continue to purchase.

    This is not the same hydrating serum I've purchased in the past. The coloring is different and the smell is awful, like burning plastic. The previous version was amazing; this new formula is not. I will not be purchasing again.

    I have very dry skin and now mature skin (age 50) and I have some health issues that predispose me to dry and sensitive skin so I really like this product but it is not ultra hydrating for me. I would need to layer this with a thicker moisturizer after. I really like all Derma-e products and started using them many years ago when I started my healthy lifestyle journey. I use this as a daytime moisturizer underneath my make up or sunscreen and I love it. I have sensitive skin and I have no problems with this. I do think if you have very dry skin or you live somewhere with dry/cold weather you will need one of their thicker creams to apply over this.

    I am not a fan of this one... I've tried several of the serums and this one is my least favorite. I did not feel that it left my skin dewy or feeling moisturized. I am also not a fan of the scent. This one was a miss for me... My favorite serum by Derma-e is the Ultra Lift DMAE Concentrated Serum, that one truly does make my skin feel moisturized and dewy.

    I use this in between days when i use retinol and other types of specialty serums. It gives my skin a great break and just provides a simple moisturizing effect. I then just use the regular night moisturizing cream by derma e. This combo i use a few times a week to give my skin just a well moisturized much needed break from other harsher treatments.     how much % of hyaluronic acid does it contain. For example Loreal Revitalift has 1.5% of hyaluronic acid.

    The ultra hydrating serum is best for dry and dehydrated skin. It will plump the skin binding moisture to the skin and will help to smooth out lines and wrinkles.
    Is it safe to layer this under a lotion that contains salicylic acid? Or would the vitamin C interact badly with the salicylic acid?

    You can layer this. However if you are using the salicylic acid to help with acne that you may want to consider using that product by itself in the evening for best results and you can use the Hydrating serum in the daytime.
    Why after using this "new and improved" for about a month, am I getting bumps on my face? I haven't done anything different nor have I changed my foundation, which is the only thing I use on my face.

    it is best to stop using the product then. You may need to do a purifying mask or scrub to get some exfoliation for your skin and get it refreshed and renewed and then perhaps try a different moisturizer like the Sensitive Skin Moisturizer or the Vitamin C renewing moisturizer and see if you get better results.
    Why is there a silicone in this product? Can you make a silicone-free version?
