Not RL quality

It was clear that the Ralph Lauren brand at Macy's has gone the way of "who cares?" Button holes are a thread mess and the lining?? Good grief.. it bags down below the hem! And from appearances, looks like someone tried to fix it by sewing it into a bunch in spots along the hem. Years ago they would check every garment to ensure it was RL quality. What a shame. Terrible quality.

Ralph Lauren navy coat

Felt the wool lacked quality of a fine Ralph Lauren coat. Returned it.

Good not Great

Size was ok but smaller than RL traditional sizing more like Macy sizing. Just fit but not roomy enough to wear over a sweater. Prefer coat with large pockets. It was a nice coat but could tell it was RL cheaper version made specifically for Macy as noted on tag. Also was lighter than expected. Good coat for price (sale) - got what I paid for but prefer something more substantial. Thanks.

Bad customer service

Coat was excellent but they packed it in a cardboard box, in a hanger that broke the moment you pull it up. I called to ask for a box or a better presentation as it is a RL coat, I mentioned that I didn't mind to pay for it, and they asked me to come in. But when I did the workers said they didn't have a big enough bag for the coat. I went to RL shop and they sorted everything out. I probably won't buy again in Macy's, their handling of good brands it's below expectations.

Classy and warm

This a beautiful, warm and well-made coat. The only problem I have is that I am 5’5”, and it goes to my ankles. Because it fits so well otherwise, I plan to take it to the tailor and have it hemmed to mid-calf.
