Can I use this with the hyaluronic acid serum? I have real dry skin but also have melasma.
- Asked by Juliana
- Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand EngageThank you for your question! Yes, the Hyaluronic Acid Serum can in fact be utilized alongside the Discoloration Correcting Serum and with most any other products in your skin care routine. Hyaluronic acid is a hydrating acid that will help retain moisture in the skin, so please ensure that the hyaluronic acid is applied first, and you can then follow-up with any additional serums and then your moisturizer at the end of your routine. Was this answer helpful to you

Do you put the Discoloration Correcting Serum on before or after the Brightening Toner?
- Asked by QTee

This combination will help brighten and even out the tone, and target any dark marks and hyperpigmentation. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Can i use this with my vitamin c serum?
- Asked by Hubear
- Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand EngageThe Discoloration Correcting Serum can be used with a vitamin C serum. The key ingredients in the serum are cetyl tranexamate mesylate (a tranexamic acid derivative) and niacinamide. Studies show that tranexamic acid is compatible with vitamin C. Outdated research from the 60's has suggested that pure vitamin c, or l-ascorbic acid, cannot be combined with niacinamide but these studies were done using non-stabilized forms of both ingredients. Niacinamide and Vitamin C are safe/stable nowadays and can be used together. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Is this good for dried patches on face
- Asked by Kala
- Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand EngageThe Discoloration Correcting Serum is formulated to help improve the appearance of dark spots, acne scars, melasma, and sun damage. While it will not further exacerbate dry patches, we recommend the Hyaluronic Acid Serum instead if that is the main concern as opposed to hyperpigmentation. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Would this serum help with evening out redness? Or is it for hyperpigmentation only?
- Asked by Emily
- Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand EngageThe Discoloration Correcting Serum targets dark marks and hyperpigmentation. For redness, we would recommend using the Niacinamide Serum or 5% Niacinamide Serum with Ectoin instead. Was this answer helpful to you

Keeps my melasma in check without irritation
Thrilled to see Good Molecules at Ulta! I first purchased the *Discoloration Correcting Serum* last year as part of a trio (which included the *Niacinamide Toner* and *Daily Brightening Serum*) to combat melasma as well as hyperpigmentation left by acne rosacea and eczema flares. I'd run out of a pr...

not for sensitive skin
After a lot of trial and error and money spent on quality skincare, I had finally gotten my sensitive skin to a point where it was staying soft, smooth, and relatively hydrated, and I was very pleased. I do have some melasma from intense sun exposure in the past, and it is the one skincare problem I...

Will repurchase forever
I use this after toner morning and night. Ensuring I use sunscreen in the morning after moisturizer. I've seen such a huge difference in my skin. My skin look clearer and brighter. Also hydrates my skin so well for makeup prep!!
Surprising results
Have been using for just a couple of weeks with vitamin c moisturizer and my sunspots and melasma are improving
2 bottles and no results
I know things take time so I gave this a real shot, with 2 bottles used and almost a year of use. I have melasma on my forehead, and dark (age) spots on my cheeks and it did not make any difference with either areas. I enjoyed how it made my skin feel, but I didn't use this to make my skin feel good, I used it to improve hyperpigmentation and it did not. I'm moving on to cocokind discoloration serum.
I would buy again
I have been using this product on and off for years. I have finally stayed consistent with it for a year it's definitely making a difference but it only started working when paired with a vitamin C.
I would buy this product again
Very good product does great job.
